Generally if employers pay their staff enough and treat them respectfully they are happy and helpful. If a server is a prick it probably reflects more on the company than it does on the individual.

From experience, the owners are like psychopaths. For example, sacking staff after getting a Zero star rating through no fault of their own is psychotic. The reason a zero star was awarded was due to them using the same cooking utensils for raw and cooked meat! Despite staff warning them about this and offering a solution to the problem, before and getting dismissed as unimportant. In hindsight, I should of gone to a solicitor and sued them for unfair dismissal but hey, we live and learn. Absolute circus that place, if any of the original staff are still there, bless their souls. + I'm guessing they bribed the food inspector to allow them to improve and return and to not publish the original rating because as if by magic, they returned the following day and awarded 5 stars.

I dunno how much this company pays and also if this is the type of work that makes the cashier happy which obviously would help towards her being so awesome, but generally in food/retail sectors they have the same pay and rarely promote people on working merit, so they end up losing many decent workers.

Danny's travelled to some great restaurants, and she was the best. I hope she gets management and the rewards she deserves.

I think this is a trick many fastfoods do, plenty chips for new customers so they will be likely to come back. That portion might not feed a family of four but it can definitely feed 2-3 not very hungry people.
