Wear Time Update: I have not had time to do a proper 12h wear test but I can say that after wearing the skin tint for 7h-8h it wore GREAT! I will report back on it once I have had time to wear it even more but so far so good. All the other items wore as expected, nothing faded too quickly or went more wonky than it already was.

Tl;dr You save the environment because I don't go through multiple shades trying to figure out which is mine and then waste products returning them. Thanks! I was looking forward to trying it. I don't think it's available at Ulta and it's harder for me to get to a Sephora so I'm so happy that you sampled it. I was thinking of getting that shade, but on the website, it looked a little darker than the typical medium (I'm Pat McGrath LM13 most of the year and M15 with an intense tan... I'm medium in most drugstore and medium tan with a tan) especially considering the model that chose to demo it. The model makes the shade look darker than you do. I'm usually a few shades darker than you with strong yellow undertones. Do you think you might go a shade lighter in this Supergoop! SPF Skin tint?

I bought the nyx bronzer, I don’t think any of the colors are neutral enough, I bought deserve buttah (light-medium neutral), which is what I usually wear in every bronzer, it pulls too red on me.

It's about the price not the size. It is like when Milk made their minis the full size but charged the full size price. Haus Labs made a mistake pricing the first blushes too low or making them to big to begin with.

That is definitely NOT and unpopular opinion, ulta's product report for the year shows they have lost soooo much money on paying back broken shipping products, it's obviously a serious problem for them. Plus I've personally never received anything in the mail from ulta that wasn't so broken it's almost not even worth trying to fix. To be honest anytime u purchase anything from ulta your far better off picking up in-store cause shipping anything is completely pointless. Ulta absolutely needs to get it together, and since they're product reports for this year shows them losing so much money just on broken shipping, just maybe they will actually do something about making the shipping process better.

It is DEFINITELY not and unpopular opinion about Ulta’s online orders! I was watching Jen makeup report yesterday and she brought this up and provided the information you shared. So many comments were made about always receiving their online orders being broken, missing items, products leaking and how awful customer service is! I will never purchase anything from Ulta unless I’m in the store. I’ve had so many issues with past orders. They need to step it up!

That’s so interesting because I order from them multiple times a week usually (depending on what goodies are out) and almost never have anything broken. I wonder if I’m just close to the shipping facility. They have done things like send me my order without my giant bag of gift with purchase and basically tell me “too bad” .

yeah i agree. i worked at ulta for 7 months and i can confidently say that my store was the only store in the area that had strict shipping and packaging procedures so as to not break anything. the one time i ordered from ulta i got sent a package from a store different than mine and could immediately tell. ulta loses a TON of money in shrink. and some of the products that ulta gets in shipment even come broken sometimes

Regarding the swatch pictures - in my limited knowledge - I think, picture post processing aside, the issue is the background color. It has to be neutral - preferably white. You look at them and think of them as pinker than they are, because the orange background drags out the opposite spectrum - blue, which is mixed in cool tones, pinks included. Simultaneously, shades that are warm will appear a lot warmer.

Completely agree with you on the Ulta sentiment. They’ve had terrible shipping for so many years and customer service hasn’t improved either. I’m not sure why they haven’t improved in these areas. They can’t keep getting away with this. It’s ridiculous! Not to mention how rude the employee always are no matter which ulta you go to 😭 I always leave feeling so bad about myself.

100% agree about Ulta shipping. They just throw everything in a box (quadruple the size needed) and it is rare when something isn’t broken. Also had a similar experience with the Tarte vinyl - Hibiscus. I was shocked when I put it on!!

I agree with you about the shipping from Ulta. There are 5 Ultas within easy driving distance to me, but none of them stock these new higher-end brands that used to be only at Sephora, so to get them from Ulta I have to order online. Unfortunately, any pressed powder product shipped from Ulta usually comes broken. They shipped me a Natasha Denona palette in a bubble wrapper! It wasn’t even in a box. Also agree that their customer service is horrible, and I can remember when it was great. I used to be able to call if I had a problem, like when an order didn’t go through, but my Ulta points disappeared, and they would fix it. Now, they won’t help with anything.

Ulta delivery is a toss up in my experience! I’ve found that I almost have to wait to order multiple products at once from ulta bc they use the same amount of packaging regardless of what you order, so there’s a better chance of it all coming in one piece😂

Hello Angie ❤ what a beautiful look. That NYX bronzer can be amazing summer shade IMO - although NYX official swatches are absolutely off but in the video it has that post-tanning rosyness. It looks like I’ve been sleeping on Danessa Myricks products - Kelly Gooch talked about the brand in her last Makeup musings and it picked my interest but your palette demo proved to me that it’s brand I should keep an eye on because the palette itself has all the good qualities I like when I work with eyeshadows. I ordered the Danessa Myricks palette through Beautylish. I have the Groundwork I as well. They are so versatile, easy to use and so buildable. I love the challenge and excitement they engender. It’s intimidating and intuitive at the same time. It just makes you look at colour and texture and shadow, in a new way. I hope you have as much fun with this as I am anticipating I will. The skin tint looks lovely.

I have the original Danessa myricks groundworks palette, I love it, it lasts all day long on my eyes and I have hooded eyes, I love using the cream and then the powder over it for an eyeliner.

I did ordered Rabanne eyeshadows from ulta, and the items were so poorly packaged that two of the quads were with broken shades, and powder all spurns the palettes. You are right about them! I thought it was something isolated but it was a shame if you saw my palettes inside of a box filled with one layer of paper so imagine the picture unfortunately. Go to the store in person if you can and complain. Hope you can get your items right

Honestly, your opinion on Ulta is TOTALLY popular. I will no longer ordered pressed powder products from Ulta. I have not had a bad experience with their customer service but I absolutely know that it’s every time and the hassle is not worth it. If I can get it at Sephora for the same price, I’ll get it there even though the rewards program is better at Ulta.

Yes I totally agree about Ulta’s horrible shipping. I heard about it for awhile but never experienced it myself….until….I decided to buy my FIRST Natasha Denona palette. I ordered it online, and used all my frickn points for it. I thought, well, maybe mine won’t be broken. Nope. It arrived broken. 😡 and the shade that broke was a frickn black shade 😳 so the palette was an absolute mess! Ulta did offer me a refund but I said screw it and cleaned the palette all up, and figured i wouldn’t really use the black shade much anyway. But Jesus, why hasn’t Ulta fixed this frickn problem by now? Those Tarte lipglosses were 🤢🤮 sooo goopy. Nope no way can anyone wear those comfortably

I don't know what nyx was thinking with that shade range everything is super rosy no neutral or golden tones for the rest of us 😅 I guess is great for the rosy toned people who can't find bronzers easily but still they could afford to release more shades for all undertones. 😢

The skin tint looks very much like no makeup makeup, although it seems better than the Kosas BB cream which remains sticky without setting, so don't know why that is more hyped. I really like that haus labs peach blush, but the price is steep for just a blush, basically like Pat mcgrath or chanel level in the UK anyway.
