I have been trying to use the Gel X system but the nails never seamed to fit properly. After watching this I ordered a Sculpted set of nails. OMFG THEY FIT. I always prefer a natural look which is why I bought natural but, who knew? Well you did ….THANKS!

Hi can you use regular nail polish with those? By that I mean non gel nail polish for the gelly tips is it possible to use regular polish then add a gel top coat?

I love learning new nail techniques that are out there bc the salons around where I'm from all seem pretty basic. Or maybe I'm not going to good salons... Ive only ever gotten 1 acrylic set that I had filled like 3 times. The initial visit was really expensive but it was a treat for my birthday. I loved my acrylics, although they did damage my nails pretty significantly. Do you find the gel x to be as strong as acrylic? I never get gel polish done at the salon bc it doesn't last for me.

Hi! New sub and glad to have found your channel!!! I’ve had awful experiences with my nails constantly being damaged. Recently I had a regular mani. I took the polish off and it looked like I’d been wearing acrylics for months. She really got me good with the efile. So I’ve been saying that I’m going to start doing my own. My mom used to be a nail tech but she stopped yrs ago and doesn’t keep up with new techniques etc.. anymore. She never used an efile. It was all by hand. Anyways, is there an efile that you can Rec for a beginner? Thank you!!! This tut is awesome and I’m for sure buying! I’m thinking about also trying on my big toe. Former pointe dancer and they just don’t grow.

My natural nail beds are sculpted, high apex. It's such a pain finding full cover nails that fit properly.

What e-file are you using??

Will just an FYI when you bent the nails in the very beginning of your video you really should’ve explained that plastic tips when you bend them will leave a white crease and it will not go away versus on gel you can bend it and the white crease will disappear!! Depending on the quality of the gel now it will not leave a crease at all it’ll just bend because of the high quality gel that it is but if you get a semi-OK or a good quality gel now it will bend to a white kris but then the white Crease Will disappear and honestly actual real gel nails shouldn’t even leave a crease at all that is like the best way to determine if it’s real or not plus the flexibility but there are so many clear plastic nails out there that do you have a nice flexibility/been to them so it will be harder to determine but the best best way in the number one way to really tell is if you have 100% acetone and soak the nail and if it breaks down then that is when you can tell that it’s real if it doesn’t break down at all and it just turns white or dried out looking than it is a plastic now I’m pretty sure you already know this but the reason why I mentioning it is because in your video you didn’t mention that when you bend the nail about the whole Crease thing. And I know this video is two years old I just figured I would watch this video because it was in my suggestions and I do watch a lot of peoples videos just for the support of their channel even though I don’t know them so I am one of those people that actually watch every video in my suggestions even though I’m not interested in it! And you just so happen to be in there so I’m supporting your video by watching the Full entire video!! 🥰
