Yes, I am a Greek Australian and I agree. For example: Humus isn't Greece and you will never find it in a Greek home / in Greece. The rest is more take away style food. Glad you tried Greek food though man! It is amazing and endless, so many styles of eating and types of dishes. In Greece you will see, the quality and simplicity make it so good!

Yea it was awesome. I will definitely ask you. I am planning either the end of this year or next year to go. I want to visit Santorini and some of the other cool islands. You can help me with suggestions.

@@life_explorers There are ferries that run to almost every island from the port of Pireaus in Athens but they can take multiple hours. I'd recommend getting a flight to santorini and then getting ferries to other surrounding islands. Other islands closeby that have airports that you can use to fly back to Athens would be Naxos, Paros, Mykonos, and Milos. I saw Milos and Santorini last year. Santorini is unbelievably nice but somewhat expensive. Milos is also quite beautiful and more rugged with amazing beaches. Mykonos is a party island that is also on the pricier side. I'm hoping that flights to Athens don't stay expensive. I was able to fly roundtrip to Athens for around 500 last year. Hopefully in the next couple months they drop some cheaper flights for the summer or early fall

@@drewkline96 yea that sounds good. Right now prices are ridiculously high. I may have to do a multi trip thing to Greece as well because it’s too much to see in one trip that is also affordable.

@@life_explorers just to clarify something because I may have sounded offensive. I'm not saying that the food you tried there wasn't very good and that it doesn't represent Greek cuisine. It's just that there are some Greek foods that in other countries are made with a little different process. For example, when you try the gyros meat in Greece it will seem much more different. I hope you will come to Greece and enjoy your vacation. :)

@@Tasos_ Oh no it wasn't offensive. Where I am from is probably far from the taste of Greek than in other places like New York, but even there, I am sure nothing beats in the country it originates from. So Yes one day soon I would love to try from there and I will definitely make a video about it as well..

Well The real Authentic is in Greece which is on my bucket list but where I live we don't have too many greek restaurants that serve this food. I would like to find somewhere in the states that I can try it if this is more fast food style .
