If "Sinangag" is sticky it means the rice used to fry it is newly cooked because sinangag is supposed to be cooked with old or leftover rice. And when she dip the pandesal in soup, i can so much relate

Hi TJ! Here in Taipei where we both live, there is only one place to get Filipino food. That's in front of Tatung University on Chungshan North Road near St. Christopher's Church. Every Sunday, it gets crowded with many Filipinos churchgoers. The food served is canteen style and rather pricey for the average quality and basic atmosphere. With all the Filipino workers here, I can't understand why can't more upscale Pinoy restaurants open here?! There's not even a Jollibee! In the Tienmou, Shihpai, Beitou area, there is nothing ... nada! However, I heard if you go out to Taoyuan and Chungli, there are a few Filipinos restos, albeit canteen/cafeteria style places. I love Philippine food ... it's so underated. However, it's so full of flavor, mystery, and balance. Glad to see you are having a blast, TJ! Glad you enjoyed Woodside, Queens. I used to live in nearby Kew Gardens, Queens, NY. With love from a loyal subscriber!!! 😄😉😘😁💕

😂 ... the shell serving spoon, then the spoon/fork combo 🤣 I love your enthusiasm! Thai people eat with the spoon/fork combo too, but the spoon is the primary utensil and the fork helps push food onto the spoon or to stab a piece of food from the serving dish onto your plate. I never understood why people like to chase rice around their plates with a fork!

Use the fork to spear the meat and the spoon for the sauce or soup as well as for scooping the rice with the help of the fork. Also, no need for a knife. Just use the edge of the spoon to cut the meat into smaller chunks.
