The foods that non-Filipinos try are everyday food for us. At first, I didn’t get how adobo or lumpia get that reaction from them. But when I left the house for college, I realized how I took for granted my mom’s cooking and now that I’m back home, the reaction they do is what I do on a daily basis because that’s how much I missed good Filipino cooking!

ow wow this is refreshing. a group of foreigners that are actually dining at a restaurant marketed as a filipino-themed place. I hate when some people try to market Jollibee as the place to go to for pipino food.

Was in NY last week for work, and I had this intense craving to give in to my Filipino wanting to eat anything with a _sabaw,_ and so I used Uber Eats and ordered food from Tradisyon. I ordered _Sinigang na Baka,_ and it was good though it was not the _sinigang_ we had in the Philippines. Tradisyon's version was brownish and with eggplant and bokchoy only. But it was so good still, perfect for the cold New York weather.

It is sour??
@thesoonyoungtohoshi0615 Жыл бұрын
@@marinefrod7685 Yes, it was sour, it was _masarap, pero wala siyang_ stringbeans, radish, long green chilis, and okra. And the _sabaw_ was brown. Very plain looking _kasi_ meat, eggplants, and bokchoy _lang ang halo. Pero_ it was very tasty _naman._ Still tastes like _sinigang._
