your art style is so cute!! I watch Scott Christian Sava, he often uses gouache, so that might help a bit! I'd love to get into gouache once I've got more space, it looks so fun

This pallete looks very good! I would have replaced one of the greens for a second yellow though.

What helps me with my own gouache to avoid mixing the colors as much is using a palette knife to scoop out the paint I want.

I would keep going on this painting. It doesn't look even half finished to me personally. Gouache works best in many layers. get that opaque melted ice cream consistency and keep going! You've got a great base, just keep building on it

I have this and i found that if you pull the white label off fully, its harder to store the paint.

Mmm. No soy experta en el gouache Pero algo que quizá puede ayudarte es que no debes poner tanta agua Ya que si lo haces será más como acuarela Y el punto del gouache es que es más opaco Y que puedes poner color encima de otro para crear luces y sobras

Laying down a thinned wash can be nice, though, as an underpainting. That way it doesn't reactivate as much when you build more opaque layers on top 💜 I think that's one of the really fun things about gouache, is that it can be used transparent with watercolor techniques or fully opaque!
