cold brew is just a different way to make “iced coffee” so it wouldn’t be like “an iced coffee with cold brew”. It’s brewed long and cold so it’s less bitter!

@@jognfong8557 its just that cold brew and iced coffee are two completely different drinks so you wouldn't ever mix them! they are brewed different ways for a reason for flavour, strength, etc!

Just FYI: Traditional coffee is made by pouring hot water through ground coffee beans and it is ready to drink immediately. With "Cold Brew" you use ground coffee but you soak them in cold water for an extended time (3 hours/over night in the fridge) in a french press or coffee filter bag. It tastes less bitter and "smoother" because hot water releases more of the coffee bean's oils and cold doesn't. So...same product (both coffee made from grounds) prepared with different methods! :)

I actually work at Mcdonalds and you guys are not wrong about the hit or miss on the coffee lol. It really depends on who is making it and how much flavor or cream they put in it. Personally mine always turn out bomb when I make them lol.

Wendy’s sells hot coffee (decaf and regular), cold brew (just cold brew and ice) and Vanilla and chocolate “frostychios” which is cold brew and the UNFROZEN BASE of the frosties mixed in. As far as the frostychinos you’re referring to it’s not supposed to taste super sweet. It’s a 1 to 4 ratio. I was a shift at Wendy’s for 3 years, and I opened the store for a long time. I can tell you this for sure lol.

Wendy’s isn’t cold brew and coffee. Cold brew is coffee that sits longer. Wendy’s is coffee with their frosty mix as creamer/milk so it taste like a frosty

At McDonald’s you need to try the mocha frappe, it comes with whip cream on top and some chocolate drizzled over it. It’s iced coffee but rather than chunks of ice cubes it’s more blended. But it is very very good and you need to try it, give McDonald’s another chance.

The frappes don’t have any coffee, in them it’s just a chocolate base blended with ice. She should try an iced latte those are definitely way better.

@@maramagss OK. I always thought there was some coffee in the mocha frappe because my mom always talks about not being able to handle the caffeine too late at night. It must be caffeine from some thing else they put in the drink then, or she’s just imagining it. Either way they are tasty but yeah if it’s coffee she wants I guess that’s not it

My favorite will always be Starbucks. Vanilla ice lattes with vanilla cold foam are delicious. I also sometimes get a quad iced espresso in an entire cup with five pumps white mocha and two percent. That’s my fave. So excited pumpkin season is back I get that now with cream in my iced coffee during fall and the owl cake pops are yummy
