I typically don’t use any other resin for molds now because this is so so lovely to use! IF any micro bubbles, they dissipate quickly. Long working time makes life easier as well. It is also lower odor which is nice, but still always wear a respirator while using it even if it says no VOCs. That applies to any resin because even if you don’t have an allergy from it now, you eventually will! Not to mention it’s toxic to breathe in. Please do not listen to anyone that might tell you it is OK to use without a respirator! And oh, I like the side with the foil better, Looks beautiful!

watching this bc i made a bday gift for my friend w/ this resin and i had TONS of tiny little microbubbles :( the only thing i can think of is that the room i was working in was too cold. 😞 i was so sad it didnt turn out perfect. 😞

When the room is cold it can cause more bubbles or if you mix fast or use a wooden stir stick. Silicone stir sticks are best. Hi, I like the the top side! Very pretty! Thanks for your help! I just bought some let's resin epoxy. I'm going to try make a flower again! I haven't been to successful at it. I've tried using different resins. Do you have to let the resin get warm before you start the flower?

I have a gallon of the let's resin epoxy coming and I'm going to be doing more flowers tests with it too 🤗

This is just sooo gorgeous! ❤ I love pansies and violets! It's too bad it got a bit covered up. You mentioned you used magenta alcohol ink, but on my screen it showed up as the most beautiful royal purple! Is that their version of magenta, or is it really a deep, purpley-pink and my screen is just bonkers? I think I prefer the top part because the ink and white combined to make a diaphanous flower that is so pretty! If you want to avoid "blobbies" on the underside, maybe you can experiment with the temp of the resin before pouring? A temp of about 40°C (104°F) before pouring into your mold, *then* mixing your white paste in the separate cup, waiting until the white also comes back up to that temp, will probably make a world of difference in your results. This seems to be especially effective for resins with a long working time and a 24 hr cure. Happy resining with a whole gallon of their lovely resin! 😊

Thank you so much for all the tips. I just got an infared heat gun so I will definitely be trying that next. I'm used to working with resin that sets up fast (20 minute working time) so I was curious how long I should wait to add the white with this one 😁🤗💜 Their magenta is called magenta but it's definitely more purple to me. I've always associated magenta with a pink color that has a little purple. This magenta ink from them is definitely more on the purple side 💜🤗 thanks for watching 🤗

Thank you 😊 I haven't tested it because I add a cork backing on my coasters and Instruct my customers to use the cork side on the back of the coaster when it is being used. The cork is absorbent and heat resistant. It will keep the top of the coaster in nice condition.

I wouldnt use this resin for tumblers it's too thin. Their fast cure epoxy or tabletop epoxy would be good for tumblers. bit.ly/3YG1Ms0

Hi there! Quick question.. I'm new to working with resin and just wanted to confirm if u meant u use a half-face respirator or full-face? The Amazon link u provided is for a half-face but in the description box as well under your video u mention full-face..? Half-face, eyes not covered (I wear glasses)/full-face, eyes covered?? I’m really glad you, and other resin artists are giving good advice about utilizing safety equipment, etc. I bought a respirator due to this knowledge, and assure I’ll be in a well ventilated space. I’m saddened that I’ve inhaled & touched way to many chemicals over my life.

I show step by step in this video how do make a mold of a 3D object. Making molds is very easy. You will love making them. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fc-WjdmUl6ubkmQ.html You need a mold housing to hold the silicone rubber. A plastic container will work well. Tape, overlapping on each piece to make a barrier for the bottom of the mold. Hot glue and silicone rubber. I show step by step in that video

I need to know why my gloves and working area get tacky while working with resin before and during poreing

Resin is very sticky in liquid form, if you spill it or get a little on your gloves that can happen. I always try to be super careful and not spill but I always end up getting some on my gloves.
