the first time i ever dyed my hair an unnatural color i bought a box of splat hair dye in like their darkest purple shade and it came out hot pink and faded to orange y i kes

I never used Splat, I never really dyed my hair a color before this year, but before that it was just dark brown. But, my best friend used to use SPLAT, became a cosmetologist and she learned that Splat was just AWFUL for your hair; depending on how much you use the stuff it can damage your hair just as bad as bleach. I’m glad she switched to Manic Panic.

I really wish there was an eye roll emoji I could insert here.......I use Splat and my hair is not damaged at all. You have to know what you’re doing.....you can’t just jump into a color as serious as Splat offers without doing research. I did MONTHS of research before committing to the color I have now. I have also proved sooooo many people wrong that told me “oh you’ll never get that red Splat out of your hair”. Oh really? Is that why I removed all the old color before I reapplied it last month?

Yes I know it doesn’t work for everyone......but as someone who has proven people wrong, it works my nerves when people say to never use something based on their own experiences. Just because it didn’t work for one person doesn’t mean it won’t work for another. Hair color is always a gamble unless you have a clear understanding about what you’re doing. No offense was intended with my previous comment or this one. Just a little information:)

bri paulo , well it really depends on the style of content, there are different cameras that'll be better for certain situations. A point and shoot or a small mirrorless camera would be better for on the go vlog style of videos, big dslrs are better for sit down blogs or trying to make tutorials. For point and shoots best so far is probably the g7x, g7x mark ii. The best for mirrorless starts with the Sony a7s mark ii (it's a close to $3000 camera but the video quality is amazing.), then the Samsung nx3300 or nx2000 are really good for the price range (anywhere from 300 to 500. dslr oh boy this list would go on for every and a lot of dslr are pretty expensive but to make a few the canon rebel line is pretty okay so that's the t5, t5i, t6, t6i they are around (500 to 700/800 ) but they will get the job done. But if you want to stand out ( quality wise ) as a content creator I'd save up for something bigger and better like a Canon 5d mark iv. And always use a good editing software. Like premiere pro, final cut . And a good way to see what you can do to stand out from the rest on KZfaq you could check out Peter mckinnon. He talks camera and gear. He shows you tips and tricks to up your video quality and picture quality. Hope this was helpful

bbR4ever1 Splat is absolutely horrible. When I used it the color transferred everywhere (I had purple streaked pillows, sheets, towels , t-shirts...) and washed out way too easily. Manic Panic is so much better. I would say it lasts twice as long

Manic panic is semi permanent so it'll last about 4 to 6 washes,I tried manic panic for the first time in Infra Red and it came out really good. I personally would recommend it,you can leave it on overnight if you want to it won't damage your hair like box dye will
