Hi Erin! I just turned 35, normal skin, and haaated the Haus foundation. I bought 2 shades and returned both…it just emphasized my forehead expression lines and settled. I love the new white cap Laura Mercier foundation, it looks glowy and smoothing on my forehead! 💕

I have the Haus Labs foundation and I enjoy it a lot. I’m 36 years old and have always used just tinted moisturizer so coming from that, it’s a nice lightweight foundation that looks natural and not cakey. Maybe it’s a nice “beginner” foundation.

Lovely selection I agree less foundation does avoid the pores looking enlarged. The eye shadow palette did look absolutely perfect ✨✨✨✨

I think the secret to this foundation is getting your shade right. If you have your right shade you will LOvE it! If not, you will not like it. Not sure if this was your best shade so maybe look to see if there is a better color match. Still looks great!

I always thought I was the only person on the planet that didn't love the Haus labs foundation! I wore it a few times and had to return it. It sat so weird on my face and I don't even have huge pores. It just felt like it was sitting on top of my skin and left behind these weird almost dots around my face that made it look like I had more visible pores than I actually do! So many better options on there in my opinion :)

The Tower 28 concealer was a product that most KZfaq influencers raved about and it was one of the worst concealers I have ever used. I returned it. It was dry, immediately creased and aged me 10 years!😢

Omg, same! I hated it so much and I got it shipped to UK from the US website. People kept saying its great for dry mature eyes, uh no it isn't!!

Finally! I I wasn't in love with the Haus Labs foundation either!! Everyone says how great it is but I got it last year for Christmas and was disappointed. I guess seeing how everyone loved it my expectations were set way too high. I returned it and honestly, I like my drug store foundation better. Just didn't get the hype.

This is what the Sephora associate told me, that kind of foundation it’s not for everyone. So she convinced me not to buy it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think I’ll keep using my beauty blender tinted moisturizer that works wonders ❤

She did get a facial, so that can change how the foundation sits. Nonetheless, this foundation is for normal to dry skin. I don't see someone with oily/combo skin using this.

I commented on your last video saying how I hated the Haus Labs foundation so im glad to know it wasn't your fave either! There are so many better foundations! I even bought the powder too, and it accentuated my texture! I had texture in areas I never have seen before! I returned both the foundation and powder, it was so thick and cakey! We are both the same age but I have a more oily skin type, so it just totally caked up on me! I also got the Patrick Ta palette and love it! Now I want to try the Gucci concealer!!! Oh and I am not a huge fan of having the products pop up on the lower left corner because it distracts me from you! I prefer to have the links below! I like the Haus Labs foundation. I my go to convealrr is ND and Givenchy. I have dry to normal skin. Great video

The Haus works for a lot of ppl and that's awesome for them. I, too, didn't like the foundation. It's way too oily on me. There are several brands I just can't wear (MBM, PMG, DM, and Haus) focus too much on dry skin. I'm grateful for the Sephora foundation samples so I don't have to return failed foundations. I'm currently loving and using Lancome Teint Idol for concealer and Givenchy for foundation. I also like Ambient Hourglass and Fenty Blur stick. (Update) it just occurred to me after watching DrCharles, the Haus foundation has a lot of skincare ingredients already built in. I already have a skin routine b4 foundation. So, I’m doubling up on skincare and thus the reason why I find Haus too dewy on me.

I have the Pat McGrath blush in powder. The blush that you used in this video is a much better option for dry skin. I was looking for a 'dewy' blush. I will definitely get it. Thank you🙂

I bought wayyy too many things but mostly restocks of loves such as the Sephora lip pencils, concealers, hair products. I did get an eye shadow palette . But my “can’t live without” is the color wow dream coat anti frizz spray. It’s been a game changer for my very difficult to style hair !

I have oily skin and did not like haus labs on my skin. It was radiant but my makeup broke up throughout the day from the oils.

Hello Erin! I did tried the concealer at Sephora, found the match and was applied leaving my eyes completely creased and at a hour of testing it my eyes were hitching resulting I have to super hydrated my eyes. Been trying many concealers but Haus labs one I couldn’t recommended! I’m scared of trying the foundation 😢

I have the Haus Labs foundation and I love it, it makes my skin super pretty, they have even asked me what foundation I have . ❤ I didn't like the Gucci concealer very much, I like the one from Natacha Denona and the one from Haus Labs better💕💄🍁

I’m about your skin tone. I tried samples of the Haus Labs foundation in shade 250, a little too orange on me. It looks a little orange on you as well. Then I got a sample of 230, and in 200. Both were better shades for me, but shade 200 was the best! So, it might be the shade that is throwing you off. Idk. I was surprised how much I like this foundation, but it was only after I had the correct shade. I’ll be purchasing it. Love the 2nd lip combo.

Haus lab didn't work for me. My skin is normal to oily, and I don't have large pores. It made my skin look textured; its like you can see the makeup sitting on top. I wore it out to see if it got better....it didnt. I live in florida, and it was slippy in the humidity!

Erin I live in San Diego and we are having Santa Ana conditions which means very dry and no moister in the air ! Iam living with my laneige sleep mask in my purse. Lips are cracking🥹 and iam going thru the whole pot of that stuff .😎☕️

Thanks for sharing I have the eyeshadow by Mario mattes and love them . Not sure if I would wear the cooler color on the pallet you pick that although it looks very nice on you. I just try make by Mario cream blush pink one then I put over it mellow mauve powder blush by Mario and it just gave the cream color a pop on my cheeks and stay in place all day. I think that’s what you where lacking because you were not sure I felt like telling you add a bit of a matching powder blush over it and you will see the difference.😅 I think out of all you share I am interested in trying the concealer because I’m always battling those fine lines and if that concealer really works maybe I’m I might just grab it so thanks for sharing your knowledge about it. I feel the same way about the foundation. I was so excited to try it, and just thought.its ok. I much prefer my YSL all hours foundation and my Chanel foundations. I thought the same thing about pores and I just didn’t like the way it laid down I don’t have oily skin or large pores. I just didn’t think it lived up to the hype.

The Haus Labs foundation looked really pretty on me but then after a couple days I developed some very big deep pimples that took a long time to heal! Very unusual for me. I wished it wasn’t the case but it was very nice 😢

I've tried HausLabs Foundation and ended up returning it. It really emphasized every single pore and imperfection on my face. I've tried it with so many different primers, setting powders etc, but nothing seemed to help. That is considering, that I don't have large pores and much texture at all. On top of everything, I would get whiteheads all over my face after each use. So you're absolutely right, nothing special or groundbreaking.

Hello! This is the first video of yours I have seen, and I’ve been watching beauty on KZfaq since March, where have you been hiding? 😊 I have not tried the Haus foundation yet, I’ve seen so many mixed reviews. I’m curious as to what you think. I also noticed it did make your pores appear more noticeable upon application. Maybe after the look is complete it will look better…

I am thinking, the foundation color is too dark on you, yes,it maybe too glowy for larger pores. I use 210, and I'm Italian. The best purchase is the White foundation, I use it to add to my summer foundations,and it gives a great finish. I really it's too dark! But you always look gorgeous!

I think I'm the only one, but I did not like the Haus Labs foundation. I have dry skin and it made it feel so tight and I did not find it blurring or pore minimizing at all

I also didn’t love this foundation. It was not my favorite. I wore it today with a very light layer and a brush that was not dense and I liked it more, but I don’t see anything special 😅

Looks like you used too much Haus Labs foundation that may be the reason it may not seem to work for you. A little goes along way. I saw several influencers do the same and didn’t like it at first but after trying it again it became their holy grail.mi love it and it’s the best foundation I have ever used😊

I’m in the minority and that is because I was not a fan of the haus foundation. I have dry mature skin, and I felt like a mask and actually flaked which I’ve never had happened before.
