Trying out the SE Sluice Box which can be found on Amazon. The sluice worked great but the material needs to be classified down to at least 1/4 inch.

That thing might be a pain to clean out. But that plastic sluice catches gold! I use one and you don't even lose a piece of fly poop

For a clean out, we just shoved the end down in a 5 gallon bucket and washed it all down real good. No problems at all. Great little sluice :)

I uses this sluice easy to clean but small rocks tend to get stuck overall good sluice.

Don’t knock the Chinese when it comes to catching gold. They’re the ones that first started banging riffles in gold pans and now that’s darn near standard. That’s some nice gold you caught. I want to come with your next trip there. 😁

I just bought this sluice Box and am headed up to Marion this weekend, and I have a couple of questions for you guys: 1) Do you guys use any miner's moss in that sluice? 2) What are the 2 removable side panels in the sluice box for? Great video, and let's hope for some pickers this weekend!

No moss needed, just set it up and run it..Bunch of little rocks tend to get stuck in the riffles but besides that it catches the gold! And to your second question, I'm not sure what those removable sections are for.. I've wondered that myself because I know on some you can connect another sluice and have a double sluice but I don't see any way of doing that on this one.. The clean out time is super fast and easy! Goes right in a 5gal bucket and then rinse. Thats it! Thanks for watching :)

Don't know if you're still watching, or if you remember, but how many buckets of dirt went through the sluice to get that result?

I think we went through about 3-4 buckets of material classified down to 1/4 inch. It was pretty cold so we couldn't stay very long . Anyway, thanks for checking out the video!

No, some will say yes but thats not true. Do a lot of research into your area if you want to try this.

Hello! I’m in Randolph county so we are super close. Anyway, the sluice works great. Just classify down and don’t feed too fast and you’ll be running at 98 to 99% for sure. Awesome sluice. Thanks for watching!
