Yes, it'll be fun to try them out again in a month or so and see what the nibs act like. I had some trouble with the STA ones, but I also didn't even try to soak them in water or anything, so we'll see!

These markers look really tempting. I love the artwork, too. We just came back from a holiday in the Isle of Man. There was a crash on the Motorway and we queued for an hour before going home at about 2.30am, this morning. We picked up our cat from the cattery where she was for 3 weeks and now she runs around the house, miauwing loudly. Have a great trip yourself, Miranda. I'm going to check out these markers.

Thanks, Valerie. I didn't realize you were on your trip for 3 weeks - that's a great holiday! Your poor kitty. She's probably making sure you know she's there and complaining loudly that you dared to leave here at the cattery for 3 weeks, lol. Cats are like that, aren't they? They hate a change in plans. At least mine do. It's great that you have somewhere you can bring her when you leave, though. I have to get someone to come up to my house every other day and check on them and clean their litter boxes and give them fresh food. Bummer about the accident on your way home. Sitting in traffic (and for that reason) is never fun. Definitely check out the markers. I hope they're still awesome in a month or two - we'll find out!

@@MirandaWatsonArt the accident was a weird one. We were nearly in front but saw nothing happening. A van bumped into the center barriers and bounced into 2 or 3 cars. Then the driver of the van left his vehicle and ran away from the scene. There was a police helicopter flying above later on and no seriously wounded people which is a blessing. As for my cat, she quieted down and follow everywhere.

This video is too fun! I have some Artistro acrylic paint markers and they seem similar to these. Priming them is definitely the most annoying part but thats my only gripe with the medium. The wood test was epic! Right on some real natural wood😂 I used them on wood slices and that was a blast. I’ve never tried posca believe it or not (they’re kinda pricey). Love your marker collection/storage !

Thanks, Alexis. Yeah, priming is annoying, lol. The wood test, oh man, I just shake my head at myself sometimes. :-D Posca are pricey. I enjoyed using these just as much as my Posca markers, just had to be careful not to press too hard when I was using them because they prime so easily.

Those look kewl, I love your piece! Fyi modpodge makes a dishwasher safe sealer!! (Haven't tested that yet, but would love to see your results.) I have a lot of old glass jars I always intend to paint but never do! May need to set myself a project.

I have ModPodge! Sweet, I'll try it when I get back. Maybe I'll put a layer on before I leave and that'll give it time to set up fully. Hopefully I remember!

Thank you, George. They do have a marker set with 0.7mm nibs. Would be fun to see how they compare to the ones I show inn the video after this one.

Your painting is fantastic! Will try to figure out a way to adapt it for Halloween. Maybe if I start now I might actually get something finished. Watched another you-tuber(can't remember who) who tried the twistable water soluble crayons from them. They seem to have excellent products.
