the second slime definitely had toilet paper added to it. this kind of “trend” was really active a couple years ago if i’m not wrong, people used to add toilet paper to slime to make it like butter slime; this was because not many people had daiso clay in their country or any other clay compatible with slime

I think a lot of these were activated with detergent since my friend did that. Hint of laundry? Detergent. They will be extra sticky no matter what.

Because you shouldn’t. It’s normal for slime to be sticky when it’s shipped to you because it’s being shipped for days and it will melt during the process, especially during the summer. All you have to do is get borax and water, mix them in, and then grab a spoon and put very little at a time until it’s no longer sticky, but before it’s over activated

@@saturn6563 If it’s over activated then you can also put glycerin or lotion. i would recommend glycerin instead of lotion because it does do its job and makes its stretchy. lotion on the other hand is bad, it dosent work too good i tried it

Fun fact: that Amazon slime was part of a set. Two of them come in a package together so the seller probably sold one of them on poshmark cause they didn’t want two of them.

Another reason shipping is always $7.11 is because part of that shipping fee goes to Poshmark. (I’ve been buying/selling on Poshmark for like 3 years lol) I’ve also bought some slimes on Poshmark and I’ve actually come across some real homemade slime shops! You’ll be surprised, you gotta like know how to search for them lol.

If you look at the Amazon one it looks like it shrank a bit in the jar? Generally slimes stick to the sides completely but there was a definite gap between the “cloud slime” and the side of the jar. It’s possible that it’s an older slime or it dried out somehow which might explain why the quality of it was so bad? I’m not a slime expert though

Video Idea: When making slime, use the exact same measurement. For example; if you use 1 cup of glue, then you use 1 cup of color, activater, shaving cream, lotion, etc :D I think it would be fun to watch :)

The same thing happened to me the other day, I purchased a slime that is amazing. It’s an amazing thick butter slime although I found a straight black hair in it. Which isn’t mine because my hair is brown and curly. It was quite gross but fine since the slime had a great texture.
