Finally I get my hands on the new updated design of the Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay! My bike was in being serviced and rebuilt by Allan and the team at Zerobikes, whilst mine was in Allan kindly let me take out the new bike to see what it was like.
Watch the video and you will see how I got on with it at the Forest of Dean.
If this is a bike you have been looking at there are lower spec models which are cheaper, or there is this one which is the top of the range model at £11k. I know Allan and his team, and also know if you give him a call I am sure he will work out a great deal for you, link below for the website

This turned into an epic weekend of riding, drinking, drinking some more, and a full cooked breakfast the following morning. Even met Steve Jones in the evening after the ride :-)
First time riding with Twelve, well following the same trails at least, all I can say is he is sound as anything, and can ride fast!!! Marc is in front of me on this video, and Jason is way ahead of us both with twelve, links below for their videos:

I reckon you were lovng that bike ....a lot!!! Definitely confident on it. That price though 😮.....I'll pass. The insta 360 creates such a stunning fast flowy impression through the woods. Banging stuff mate😎👍

Was I ever loving it ❣️ That bike really rode lovely, prefer my colour scheme still though 🤷🏻♂️ The insta 360 has certainly given me a different outlook that's for sure 👍🏻

Cool video, nice trails - they fit my level also 😃 I’m about to pay for the rocky also. Coming from specialized levo… hope I will feel a difference

Mate I cannot explain how jealous I am of you right now!!! Which one are you getting? I love my Powerplay, such a great bike and feel to it! But the new one is just everything Rocky Mountain owners have been asking for! That is a weapon, an expensive one, but what a bike! It really built my confidence back up so quickly. One thing you will notice for sure, you will put in more effort on your Rocky as such, you have to get the power from the motor by the amount of power you apply to the pedals. Makes for a really natural ride feeling though, in a nutshell you will love it 🤣 that bike really works as a 29er!

Great video mate and awesome looking trails. I can see why you said I should get myself to FOD. I've also got to get myself on a mullet. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will suit my riding really well

You really need to go here, and with it being so close as well, you will fall in love! I like the idea of trying a mullet as well, the 29er was just a dream over the larger rocks also 👍🏻

I would love to try out an ebike. More curious to check out the feel of one on a 29er. I've ridden a bunch of 29ers and wasn't a fan. Felt really big to me, like I was riding a big truck. Of course, I rode 26" for 20 years. I'm used to nimble bikes, so the other aspect of ebikes is how nimble they are with the increased weight. Bet they are great on climbs, though.😁

Just try a mullet one. Business at the front, party at the back. I just got the new Levo SL 2 and it is really playful and nimble. Try some out. :)

I didn't think I would like the 29er more than my 27.5 ebike tbh, had some quick goes before on a 29er but not long enough to really try it. Blew my mind tbh, I felt like I could attack more with less worry. Especially on the more steeper terrain. The speed it picked up as well was incredible! No issues orh it being nimble either, not that I found anyway, but I am nonexpert either 🤣 The weight of the ebike on steep terrain always adds a little more to it, as harder to stop for sure. It almost commits you into it. Climbs are a dream, I look for little technical bits now on climbs, something I wouldn't do on a non ebike that's for sure 🤣

@Electric Mountain Biker 29ers are typically better at technical terrain, for sure. Climbing with an ebike would be "weird". Just in that you can go faster and not get as tired. I'm hoping there is a free demo around my area. Some bike companies typically roll through my area each year doing free demos, which is nice.

@@chameleonpogono they are great fun on the climbs, have to be honest I also enjoy the climbs on my hardtail. A different way, as feel proud when at the top after a climb, where as on the ebike it is just great fun 😊 Demo days are awesome, fingers crossed one comes rolling through soon for you 👍🏻
