Thank you for this try on haul. Shein sizing is tricky sometimes. I am also an apple. I find that lately I can get jeans in high rise or extra-high rise and this helps with tucking in the shirt because I can get the belt to sit level around me instead of dropping down in the front. Makes me feel more trim. Also, wide leg jeans are heaven!! No clinging to my legs, emphasizing my inner thighs etc.

I would take the buttons off that first blouse. They cheapen it - the diagonal line looks fab, but not a fan of the buttons at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

I liked the red shirt, but of course I can't feel it so it's doesn't seem cheap viewing it. I just did my own Shein haul and ordered those exact 2 belts so was happy to see them. They've just arrived in Australia so shoukd havd them in about 4 days 😊

Hi Marleen, I know most people like your red asymmetrical button shirt but I have to agree with you, it is giving very inexpensive....love the style of this though but would look much better in a different fabric....I've ordered belts from SheIn twice now in plus size and both times neither one was long enough, they appeared to be regular length.....Don't know what the problem was but haven't ordered one since!! I like the one with stirrups very sharp....That's the thing with SheIn sometimes ya win and sometimes not!!! At least you tried.....Have a great rest of your week my friend ❣️

Ya that’s the one hun, now I’ve tried and it’s out of my system lol. Wow strange about the belts.. ive never gotten one that didn’t fit the measurements.. but don’t blame you for not trying more. Asos and yours clothing does plus belts too should you need xx

Marleen, First of all: I so love your accent (I know you are Irish and I LOVE that language-sound very much, it sounds warm&sweet!!!!!!!). - That first shirt is so beautiful!!! Seems a little bit Eastern. I LIKE VERY MUCH although I would buy it in a larger size (personal choice) and love the satin (also personal choice). Not everybody likes that fabric so maybe you can find another piece in that color but in another fabric, hun? My opinion is that it looks good on you but I see you through a screen, not IRL so I can not judge. That color is really amazing on you though sweetheart!!! I did expected that hihi. - The jeans: you are right, to flarry. You disappear into them ;-) - I would wear that blouse upside down, with the buttons in the front. LOL - I do like the black blouse but not the color!! I really like that asymmetrical neckline, that is fun and very special! Maybe you can sew gold buttons on it (that is if you did not send it back of course). - Dear, why not buy those trousers also in a nice bright color as (wine) red, green, purple or other??? Green and red you can easily mix with brown, no? I buy such trousers at Ulla Popken and love them too! Most of all because they have pockets HAHA (Emma!!!!!). I would buy the larger size, Marleentje (but again, that is my personal choice). I really would love something (with short sleeves) in real silk (red or bright pink) but that is so expensive, especially in a large size!!!! Huge hugs from Pinkie

It’s an orange red yes, and does look more orange on camera I admit lol. And yes, in a blouse material that wasn’t shiney it would have been much better for sure lol xx

Hi Marlene, i really liked the fist top on you. It did look orange though and not red. I think the rxtra shine perhaps put you off. It really does suit you. I do know you must feel comfortable in it though and its very shinny like too shiny in my opinion. The black top was aweful. So i agree with you there. It made your breasts look different sizes one much larger than the other too, well on camera it did. With your pants I think all you need is to run them in underneath the crutch area. It will fix all the looseness front and back. I do this by hand sewing. Believe me it makes a huge difference 😊

Hi ..this is what happens to me .bad fit or horrid material..i pref trousers in 3xl .on u .they flow more on ur body shape ..shame about the other items ..thank u for shareing sue

Hi,why don't you try shoulder pads ,they work well for Apple shapes, you send most items back ,perhaps spend longer in looking at measurements ,and reviews ,your a stylist you should know your subject matter ,what suits and give watchers ideas and inspiration,ǹot just the same old clothes,in different colours.

Ouch!! But fair point so let me explain! When I do hauls, I am looking for clothes for ME! Not you and your body! Yes shoulder pads may work at times but I have a very large chest and often pads will compete for space with my chest and short neck. Also, if I’m not wow’ed when I put an item on, I don’t want it in my wardrobe so I don’t want to compromise to make it fit. If however I was doing a style video that’s different, but as I only keep clothes that wow’s me, it’s rarely a problem. And as a stylist, I’m very sorry to tell you that clothes is “just” clothes.. it’s “all the same” one way or another. (Unless you can afford custom couture of course, and good for you if you can). It’s all a about the person inside it 😉 My channel is about REAL fashion for REAL women. Most of us don’t live in a staged Pinterest picture (as beautiful as they are). Also this channel is for apple shapes and as Apple shapes we have had to compromise all our lives because fashion isn’t made for us. So I’m simply here, sharing my experiences, what things looks like on me… and hopefully that helps others feel inspired and represented.
