im Mexican, i was raised on tortillas, beans, nopales, and chile rojo! Definitely developed a high tolerance to spicy. Spicy Mexican candy is THE BEST. 💯

Lol poor Dave thankfully they didn't send you the spicier candy because trust me there is and it's saltier too. I guess Mexican kids are conditioned to tolerate spice from a young age because I don't consider any of the candy you tried truly spicy and I can't handle too much spicy food

I can’t with Jangmin omg his Spanish accent is so nice ( It reminds me of like, watching handsome dudes in Spanish telenovelas growing up 😂 ) Jangmin tiene una vos muy linda, no sé porqué pero me sorprendo. I really like this video lol I remember some of these candies, growing up in Canada the only “Latin food” you can find is usually Mexican and these candies take me back. 😂

hahahah "you need to work for the yummy" is the perfect way to characterize mexican candy. I'm white but I live in a Mexican community and I remember eating a lot of this on the school bus hahaha you have to get through the chili powder and then it's usually good!

Los entrenan desde chicos jajaja, soy chilena y nuestra comida es insípida(?) y a lo más que se aventuraban era con lo ácido, al menos ahora van apareciendo cosas picantes debido a la globalización. Antes le huía a lo picante y con especias (mas que nada por mi colon) pero luego le di la oportunidad (en China) y ahora amo lo picante, voy de a poco eso sí, me gustaría probar todos esos dulces xD

There was a transfer student from mexico in my social studies class, and on his last day of school he brought a bunch of mexican candy and i ended up grabbing the pulparindo candy. I actually really liked it, i should've grabbed more.

As a mexican I feel so happy someone could review our candies without being disrespectful. Most of the videos out here where foreigns try our candies are rude and altogether annoying to watch. Dave obviously didn't like some of the candy lol but wasn't rude about it, and btw those candies made my water mouth, I love them

This is way too funny! Dave cursing is hilarious! Yes, Mexican candy is hardcore ( a hardcore emo rock band). It's a reflection of how life is; sweet, sour, and spicy! said by a Mex-american. When Jangmin speaks English you can so tell he is Spanish! Sergio will know when I say that the Pulparindo (bacon-looken in the yellow wrapper) comes in a even more spicy version in Red wrapper! That is fire... I can't to that!

People's reactions to tamarind candy are always amusing. Because we are used to eating candy with sour/salty/spicy flavor since literally being little kids, I cant imagine what it will feel like to taste that for the first time as an adult.

when Jangmin asked if that chocolate snack was spicy, it reminded me of the time when I had chilli chocolate during my trip to Australia 😂 I wish I could try these spicy candies in this video; I think it'll be an interesting flavour.

As a Mexican American I'm screeching. The last time I thought any of those were spicy or salty or sour was when I was 5 so to see them react like this makes me want to cry tears of laughter. But to be honest every good Mexican loves tamarind, we even make a type of juice/water/cold tea out of it.

I am Brazilian and I ate a lot of tamarind in elementary school, Brazilian children love this type of fruit a lot because it is sweet, salty and sour at the same time.

Mexican flavors are almost the same as Indian flavors. India also have a lot of tamarind, green mango and chilly flavors.
