I'm perpetually in awe of Tabitha, and I was immediately compelled to try her latest tutorial on making pressed castings in fiber paper. So here's my attempt!

Love this video. Just proves that "if at first you don't succeed......." all is not lost

I love your Picasso-esque fish :D That just made my day and made me smile a lot. I do hope you found something awesome for it - maybe in a Picasso style underwater scene.. I think that'd be amazing!! Absolutely love watching your videos, (they make me want to get a larger kiln) so thank you for making them.

What a nice treat to see you try Tabitha's technique. As my grandmother use to say, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained". Bravo for your efforts.

I just love watching your videos, they help us all learn not all is lost. If you don’t succeed try, try again. I also watched Tabitha’s video and wondered how successful I would be. You have shown us somethings to watch for. Thanks so much for showing us newbies that you can still come out with something beautiful even if it’s not what you were going for. I’m hooked and look forward to what you’ll try next !! 🙏🏻😊

This has nothing to do with this video, but just wanted to give you a big hug for telling about the three adventurine green from underground glass. Mine arrived, so gorgeous I don't quite what to do yet!

He isn't a scary fish. He's cute. It's probably too late but I would have done a scene like Tabitha does and had him peering over seaweed like he's a shy sea dragon. I love Tabitha, she inspired me to buy a used kiln last week (gulp) and try this myself.

Jamaison, nice video! I love how you share your successes and not so successful attempts at things. I like it because you do what we all do and that is "hmmm, now what do/should/could I do?", it is brilliant! I have seen a few different videos on pressed glass fusing and from what I remember you have get the volumes of glass fairly accurate, it seemed like a challenge to me. Regardless, I am so appreciative of you sharing this. I am also a huge fan of Tabitha, she makes things looks pretty easy, LOL! Great work Jamaison! What if you snip up or turn into frit those two "scrap" hearts and cast them with some Tekta like you did the other paperweight? Anyway, thanks so much for sharing! 💖👍😉

I made paperweights out of them and they turned out nice... (still need to fire polish). Thanks for your kind words!

Hi! I have been enjoying your videos. As a brand new glass enthusiast wanna be, I'm learning! The music in the background is distracting. Just a friendly suggestion.
