Today I tried Taco Mama with LA artist East Side K-Boy!
Together, we ventured into his neighborhood known as "The Lowbottoms" and had an open discussion about LA Gang Culture, The importance of Community Positivity and how it can make a difference.

My mom used to bring me taco mama for lunch . It was literally my favorite! That shit has been fire my whole life up until 2018/2019. Anyone that grew up on Taco Mama KNOW that the sauce and that cheese ain't the same. That soft shell chicken taco still fire !

@@LATRYGUYhave you reviewed Ramona’s in Gardena yet?? Green chile, red Chile, beef and potato, and taco burritos, the beans are creamy, rice is flavorful. Even the gringo taco with the picadillo is good. Those are the OG items, all the other items on the menu are recent. Only thing is the salsas not spicy.

Oh, my. I love their beef burritos and tacos. That's crazy it's been a while, but I was just thinking about this spot. The only thing I miss about L.A. is the food 😮 don't listen to everything you hear. I have never seen a problem at these spot & I'm 59yrs old. Please try the burgers on 57th & Central been they're since the 50's & Please try the hot relish. I love all your videos. Thanks for supporting our communities ❤🙏🏾

Your a female its way different for you I've been there and seen multiple shootouts and that burger spot you talking about on 57th and central, snack shack is a even more dangerous spot, you obviously don't no much about gangs because you would no the thats the villains hood and they be right there all the time. Taco mama is worse because it's in the middle of a blood and crip neighborhood which both go there often thats why it's been alot of shootings that happen on that corner so plz stop giving bad advice before you get someone killed because these streets ain't nothing to play with so you definitely better be aware of your surroundings 💯

I was born and raised on the Eastside and lived all over LA, I been in pretty much every hood you can think of and never been in jail, shot and obviously not killed but that does not mean the next person will be that lucky so yes there's ppl who has lived that life and been in these streets, by the grace of God has made it out and never had any harm to them but at the same time I've been in several close calls and again seen with my own eyes shootings and killings so with that being said I would never suggest for anybody to go to a dangerous neighborhood that there not from just to go get some food because I've seen to much to no what can happen and what will happen if your in the wrong place at the wrong time. So im not trying to tell ppl where they should and should not go but im dam sure not go suggest any place in a dangerous neighborhood without giving them the good, bad and the ugly 🤷‍♂️

You should go try Case Sanchez in Long Beach, California, located on Anaheim and Temple. They have the most amazing Mexican food. You can't go wrong with the experience of food. 😊

Best burrito spot is 4th st taqueria in long Beach. Carna asada burrito. If lots of bull was still around in LA off Jefferson and la Brea I would say go there. But this is the next best thing. Iykyk from a LA native food junkie!
