TANG was created in the 50s by a food scientist. It didnt take off in popularity until it was used in the early space program missions.

I spent half of my childhood in the Philippines during the early to mid 90's. A hot summer day hits upwards of 45° (113° in 'Murica units). You come home from school sweating, grab the biggest glass in the house and drink this with ice cold water while standing directly in front of the aircon blasting at full power as you wait the 2-5min for your computer to boot up and get to the desktop so you can play some Diablo or StarCraft. Those are pure nostalgic memories 🤓
