Oh wow it’s so nice of you to comment! I hope my comments never came across as harsh because I did have a lot of fun playing Haystack and can’t wait to see where your game develops too! Im a massive horror fan and have talked a lot with my community about how amazing it would be to have a horror Stardew game, even before playing Haystack village, so that sounds reallyyy exciting. Is there anywhere I can follow you for future updates about the game?

Your comments at the end of the Haystack segment actually gave me a lot of motivation to keep working on the game. And I really appreciate your interest in the game! As far as updates, I think KZfaq keeps deleting any mention of social media in my comments, but I’ll likely be starting a devlog on my itch page soon.

Hi, this is the creator of Haystack Village! I'm very happy to read this, as there are actually a lot of horror elements in the game, although they don't show up until a little later in the story. 🙂

Isn't Stardew Valley inspired by Harvest Moon though? Harvest moon came out really long time ago and when I first discovered Stardew Valley I thought of Harvest Moon.

Stardew fanatics who didn't witness the pre-Playstation 2 area yell at every game that has pixel art, floorboards, and a pumpkin, apple, or turnip, "Stardew RipOff! CA should sue!" There's barely any indie pixel art game out there anymore, especially if it has some kind of management or simulation gameplay aspect, that's safe from the "RIP OFF RIP OFF!" downvotes, I'm honestly waiting for these people to attack videos about games from the SNES area. It's honestly annoying. I love Stardew, I played it since it came out and have over 3k hours on it. It's an excellent game and one of the best in the genre but let's be honest for a second, there are barely original aspects in the game. It's a really Harvest Moon-based game that took all the great stuff from HM, the decent stuff and improved it, and left out the annoying stuff/made it less annoying (even many of the characters are "knock-offs" of HM villagers). It's ridiculous when you see people whine under an indie game that it's a Stardew ripoff because it has pixel art and the inside of buildings has wood-coloured floorboards (no shit, saw that in a comment on Traveller's Rest). It's like someone bakes That Pizza - it's bigger, cheaper, with more cheese, and miraculously healthier but tastes even better than your favourite pizza that you've bought from the store in the past and people not only claim this pizza baker invented pizza, but accuse everyone who makes pizza or any kind of round-shaped food or food with similar ingredients ("Pasta?! This has wheat and cheese and tomatoes sauce, just like That Pizza!") of copying That Pizza.

LMAO I dont even like my hairstyle a lot of the time😅 This will be long because there arent a lot of good tuts on youtube so ill try be descriptive. SO my hair cut was just some choppy af homejob layering and then grown out. If you have thick hair then I recommend to NOT wash your hair that often, obv stay hygienic but you dont need to wash your hair every day! I wet my hair then ruffle it with a towel till damp, then go through with a tiny bit of wax to add some hold (otherwise my hair goes into a bowl cut shape). Then I get a hair dryer and a thermal hairbrush and roll the sides of my hair up in the hairbrush while blow drying close to the brush at a medium heat to get that curl up look, then after that a few spurts of sea salt spray and ruffle my hair with my hands!
