I think your dad is correct. You usually eat donuts cold so they are in their element but some of the things are typically eaten warm with jam etc. so they are not in their element.

Always love your videos! The ones with you and your dad are always fun! I have to say, your dad’s right. Some pastries are meant to be eaten at room temp (doughnuts) some warm (croissants) and some cold (custard tarts), and a scone definitely isn’t meant to be eaten dry, (that’s just sad) so, eating them all room temp Isn’t really a fair test :).

Grace my favourite is the raspberry and blueberry danish with the custard - it’s amazing so good. Eaten 5 in 3 days. The Victoria muffin is yummy too.

You need to try the rosemary and salt focaccia, it is incredible! They also did this chocolate tart with glitter on but haven't seen for a while which was fabulous

Ex m&s baker here! Croissants flew away first thing in the morning! Pain au raisins also sold quickly. Grace is right in my opinion, the apricot slice looked undercooked. Muffins were popular, particularly the lemon in my shop. Pretzels, palmiers & eccles cakes were least favourite. Always chucked away.
