Tutorials of any kind and seeing local game stores would be fantastic. Love your store and videos so much, and as a starting dice maker I’m learning so much!

I'm loving this series! As someone who lives in a country where the typical local game store is quite rare, I'd love to watch interviews or maybe even a general tour (I don't know if they allow that tho) through some game stores! And just as a note, the audio during the intro portion is pretty quiet (I think you were too faraway from the mic?), specially compared to the animated intro. Not sure if you noticed but just in case...

I love your dice! You should do a Nintendo style dice line featuring switch colours, Mario kart and characters along that line!

This is such a fun idea, but I’m old so this instantly made me want to make dice inspired by the original Nintendo and the Gold Zelda cartridge 😂😬

What a fantastic result ! I like a varied content revolving around dice, making dice, talking to other makers, seeing the cool dice in games and stores. Visiting different techniques is always fun.

I just found you as a KZfaq recommendation. I like your engaging presentation style. I’d like to see videos on glitter etc that you add to your resin pieces.

I'm enjoying your videos. I love making dice and might just give this mold a try. Maybe you could give making liquid core dice a try.. I've tried once and failed but I'm not giving up!

Thank you for sharing this so much! I've been thinking about wanting to do dice molding myself and got really excited to see how well this video went and I clicked on a whim lol! But I'm glad I did. You got a follow across the board from me! I'm also a fellow TTRPG player and plan to also try to GM a book for Avatar Legends one day as I have equipment coming it's way down currently! Thank you again for this!

I would like to find a tutorial on how to refresh old dice. We have a couple of pints of them, all mass produced. I refill the numbers with Shur ball markers (lasts longer than paint) but on many the vertices are battered after years of use, even if always rolled in cardboard boxes lined with cork or felt.

Oooooh. Omg, that is such a good idea. Give me some time to find a set of older dice that need some love and I’ll definitely get on this!

pet peeve: why..OH WHY..are people putting markers for the #6 on the d6 and d8? LOL. last time I checked #9 doesn't arrive at the party until after 8! (I NEVER buy dice sets that adopt this convention. but I am a VERY old school 2nd ed DnDer). I do love that this mold is solid silicone though, has good keys and comes with a ton of stuff.

what brand of alcohol inks were you using? I haven't had any issues so it would be interesting to see if it's a certain brand or something

I'm curious about what you mean about the alcohol ink burning?
@ArtemisDiceCompany
@ArtemisDiceCompany 9 ай бұрын
I have another video where I explain it a little better (because it happened while filming 😂), but the quick answer is that resin gets super hot while it’s curing and it can be too hot for many alcohol inks to handle. It seems to effect colors (looking at you, purple) more specifically than like, a different brand. When it burns, the ink will cure brownish and opaque.

I am just starting to make dice and have really appreciate your “So You Want to Be a Dice Maker” videos. I know this is an older video so I don’t know if you will see this comment. I was just wondering if you have tips for limiting air bubbles in you dice? I know that profesional dice makers use pressure pots but that is kind of a big investment for someone starting out. I have been popping surface bubbles with a lighter like you show but have noticed bubbles on other faces when I demold the dice. What are some tips and tricks you would recommend for limiting as much bubbles as possible with out a pressure pot?
@ArtemisDiceCompany
@ArtemisDiceCompany 6 ай бұрын
Everything you’re doing is a good start. I’d use a very thin resin, and stir the resin slowly and carefully. You can use a heat gun to try to pop bubbles in the cup before you pour, and maybe try to let the dice cure on top of a heating pad or heating mat.

The finger covers are used by watchmakers to avoid touching the movement, i hate them and i find a regular well fitted glove to be better
@ArtemisDiceCompany

Oooh. I never knew of that use for them. I also do not like them and have never used them. I just prefer well fitting gloves. Also…don’t make watches because that seems like a cool job?

I went to amazon to buy one of these molds and they're out!! I've looked even on ebay and such and can't find anything :( does anyone know what happened and if these will ever be sold again? I had to buy a far less sturdy mold and I'm just hoping for the best but I still really want to try this migugaga one

@@ArtemisDiceCompany In case that mold never gets sold again, do you have any other recommendations for this kind of thing? I saw that you don't recommend the most common one I've seen on Amazon, but it would be nice not to have to spend crazy amounts of money on a mold if I don't know whether I'll stick with this hobby yet.
