I actually think the smile line looks realistic because its not one hundred percent perfect. I have natural French tip and they actually look like the set you did so I say you actually did a perfect job at hyper realistic natural French tips👍💃👌🙌excellent job imho!

I came to say the same thing. They look more realistic because they are imperfect. ❤❤

Hey Brandi I just found your channel and subscribed a few days ago so I’ve been back binging a bunch of your videos. I feel like an addict I get to the end of one and say okay just one more and before I realize hours have passed. I’ve always loved doing my own nails and friends nails but aside from cosmetology classes I took back in the *eh hmm… mid 1980’s 👀 I haven’t had any professional training. I know a lot of the basics but back then it was all about acrylics, then over the years raising three boys it was hard to find that *me* time. I still dabbled here and there and hoarded nail polish like a lunatic but when I did get some me time it was just basic home manicures with regular polish not all the amazing art I’m seeing done now. I have never done gel nails which is how I ended up here searching for some education. I actually think I stumbled onto your channel because you were doing a Temu haul and I had been wanting to see what others opinions were on their products as I had been skeptical to give them a try. Well next thing I knew I was seeing some amazing mermaid gel nails and then *gasp* my favorite so far FAIRY 🧚‍♂️ NAILS, and when you spoke the magical words of pink, purple and blue being 3 of your favorite colors to blend, well I couldn’t hit the subscribe button fast enough! Obviously my boys are all grown now and aside from my middle son and his wife finally blessing me with my first grand baby a year and a half ago, this Nana now has some extra time to get back into one of her favorite hobbies NAILS! It’s been awhile since I’ve worn long extensions so I’m going to stick to the shorter ones to actually wear ( don’t want to accidentally poke out one of my sweet grandson’s eyes 😂). But I did place a couple big orders of anything and everything I could get my hands from many of your great tutorials I’ve watched. Aside from the new tools and the stickers and sparkles and gemstones… well I couldn’t just pick a couple colors to try (although if I had to it would have been pink purple and blue 😉) nope I had to have ALL THE COLORS! Okay well maybe only half of all the colors. I did have to tell my sweet husband that I have a couple packages on the way and asked him nicely to resist the urge to strangle me when they arrive. 😂 I apologize to everyone who has actually read this long crazy comment, I’m just so excited to get started I couldn’t hold it in anymore. And Brandi you are an absolute doll and you do an amazing job with your detailed tutorials. I haven’t even started but you have me convinced I can accomplish anything. I just really wanted to thank you for reminding this old Nana how much joy creating beautiful nails brings me (mine not be as beautiful at the start but it will be fun trying). I feel like I’m off on a new adventure and can’t wait to jump down the rabbit hole! Ooooh *adds Alice in Wonderland to list of ideas! Okay I’m going to stop babbling now and I promise to keep future comments much shorter 😉 😊

I loved this video. I think your smile lines are fine, because (natural) smile lines aren’t perfect anyway. They are all different. I’m definitely going to try this.

If you have the smile line stickers you could possibly use them to get a cleaner/crisp smile line look that your after. I hope this has helped 😊

Loved the nails. Next time to assist with the smile line, try dusting a light coat of acrylic. It will keep the polish in place without bulk. You may only need one or 2 coats of gel. But don't forget, natural nails smile lines are not perfect. Ms Brandi Nailed it again!

I think this was a creative process. If someone isn't happy with their natural nail bed color I wonder if a coolored builder gel could be used to attach the nail... I agree with the others that an imperfect French line is better for this look. I will be trying this method for sure.

Well the line looks realistic to me bc real nails don’t have an actual crisp line like the French tip. But if you would like I know apres nails has tips w lines in them to guide you. Maybe Amazon has something similar or maybe use the French tip stickers on the outside and follow that line inside.

I just ordered my small madrel bit from KS! I don't really like a standard one and rarely reach for it because it's so big. I think the small one will become a new fav for prep and cuticle work. I assumed the black and white were simply a color preference but other wise I believe they are the same.

This was a very awesome attempt. I wonder if a liner brush to make a crisp line your looking for first then cure a few seconds the use that line as your guide. I think most natural nails are never that crisp. I need to try this. I had not seen this method done before. 😊

The smile line shouldn't be perfect. natural nails don't normally have a perfect smile line. mine for example, are lopsided on most of my nails. People aren't meant to be perfectly symmetrical. if you've ever seen people test the theory, if you take a person and split the image "exactly" in half, then reverse the image to create perfect symmetry, we don't look right to the eye. It actually looks really UNNATURAL to be symmetrical. So I think they look better this way. 👍
