Randomized isnt harder its easier cause the challenge is harder with the perfectly set enemy teams

Even randomized the boss trainers have the same pokemon teams, and randomized moves makes it to where can't set up since never know what moves they have

i think he’s just aggravated. Its one thing for a game to be challenging, but another for it to be complete absolute bs 😅 majority of the pokemon he fights just out speed and do way more damage than they normally should. I mean it seems like not even defensive built pokemon are even an acceptable strat in this game. Yet this game offers… Slowpoke… in one of the tag team areas… 🙄

Yeah I feel like maybe he should've went with that opening statement of "if it's just ridiculous I'll switch to normal" or something along those lines

If you use save states the rng doesn't change however if you use in game save resets the rng will be different every time but it will always lean towards getting crits and status effects no matter what mon you use or they use

I sometimes rage quit Pokerogue for the same reason, seeded rng is garbage. Everytime I have a major issue with an oppenent always landed a status/crit/sweeping my team, it comes down to, not being intelligent by finding a new tactic, but by save scumming until you find the right action that changes the seed rng to prevent the same thing happening again. Basically it rewards you for doing the wrong and not always smart thing, to alter the time line. Which is why I don't mind save scumming pokerogue. I am not repeating 1000s of runs because seeded rng told me to restart. Meanwhile I am literally okay with being brutalized by kaizo ironmon natural bad rng. That's fun compared to unchangeable rng.

That's the whole purpose. Radical red is for all those, that hate having no challenge in pokemon games. That's why you use dox and damage calc, to even the odds. And if you know what to use, you will have a much better time. Like, he clearly needs a talonflame for erica. Plus charizard would have been a much better starter, it gets dual wingbeat. And even with the ai cheating, you KNOW how it cheats.

@Gnetc thats not pokemon anymore you shouldn't have to memorize an entire new moveset for all pokemon Pokemon is fun because you can ajust to the enemy getting hit by a sacred fire from a mudkip is just dumb

Difficulty hacks aren’t for everyone. If you find them too difficult you can always play a vanilla game 🙂
