Hello Jarno. I find it very interesting how you always talk about the setup and how much of an impact it has on the race, similar to real life F1. I think it would be cool if you made a video sometime just demonstrating how much time you lose or gain with different setups, even just in time trial. Anyways, I always enjoy watching you compete against the best and how consistent you can place that car 1 pixel from track limits. It's damn impressive.

Hey Jarno, I like that youre making the voiceover less predictable than you used you, been here for a long time and enjoy those esport races a lot. Just try to make the voiceovers as unpredictable as possible as its a better experience for viewers (for example: when you are side by side and you say we have to lose the position or we move up the position, wait a bit until you actually move up/down. Etc. Anyway, thanks for the videos

This was the third track I ever played in an f1 game and really screwed me over when I played it in career mode. I was on mediums and on my in lap with around 70-75% wear when one of them punctured in like turn 8 and lost me a bunch of time. I managed to recover and got a few seconds ahead (it was a low difficulty tbf) and then on the last lap the exact same thing happened with a bit less wear even though I didn’t even go on the gravel either times and I had to roll to p6 with a 5 second penalty for not being able to turn at the chicane. So basically this track traumatised me from using tyres past 50%

I think this game has a massive tyre wear system problem. %30 tyre wear and %50 tyre can have very similar pace. Instead of tyre wear being gradual it is very sudden such as the %25 tyre drop off

Very much depends on your setup actually. You can drive the hards very comfortably until they have 40-50% if the setup is right. Also depends on the track itself. When going around Qatar your tires are basically done around the 25% mark

I personally could not drive without the gloves, bought them just to preserve good condition of the wheel and quickly realised driving without them feels so much uncomfortable it's actually crazy difference I didn't expect

It's a matter of hygiene to me only. It's not related with driving or feeling but my hands sweat a lot so maybe that's part of it.

It would be really smart to do the glove thing. I’m sure that could be a high cost project so maybe brainstorm other ideas to upshoot. But a lot of people trust your opinion and while the sim racing market isn’t massive, it is a base that isn’t being marketed to that much

I don't know if anyone noticed that but Jarno never used 100% break at none of the corners even in the rain throughout the laps it's so close at some of the corners but never 100%

He seems to have stopped cheating now that the game's traction isn't complete garbage. Even IRL F1 drivers hated F1 22's traction. Ronhaar wasn't a bad driver before, but he was blatantly grip hacking and everyone knew it. His drastic reduction in pace on LAN was all the proof we needed. He still drives like a dick and divebombs constantly, but he is fast and has good tire preservation. Kinda like Shaiiko in R6 Siege. Probably wall hacked a bit early on, but got banned, grinded his ass off, came back and is within the top five best fraggers of all time, globally.

@@bobbymoto1675Drastic reduction in pace on LAN? I'm all for calling him a cheater in 22. But he finished 6 seconds ahead of Jarno and won in the first esports event this year. Not the best example of him being a god with cheats and average without.

@@ElMoShApPiNeSs We have to assume that he is just a genius at setting up the car because even now it seems like he is driving with advantages that the other racers simply don't have. In this video alone he gets down on the power well before Jarno coming out of a corner and it took Freddie nearly a dozen laps to pass him with a slipstream the entire time. I want to believe he's clean now (he definitely wasn't before) but his pace and the incredible bankers he puts in in qualifying shouldn't be possible by human hands.

I use gloves for hygiene reasons. Maybe my hands sweat more than yours but I can't imagine driving on a sim rig without gloves. It's a lot easier (and I feel safer also) to wash my gloves instead of cleaning the wheel all the time.
