Smothered Duckmate sounds like fine dining cuisine. "Today we offer our slow roasted duck. The duck is smothered in rosemary and pecan crusted remoulade. We mate this entree with either house mashed potatoes or the lemon herb risotto"

i feel like duck chess gives a bit too much advantage to they player going first. maybe black should place the duck before white's first chess move.

Chess already gives an advantage to the first person to play maybe this effect isn't so much about the addition of a duck
