That pit bull barking behind fence with dog sign; then the full moon with the clouds; then the moon with the barbed wire fence & you hear dogs or wolf howling the entire time. Good job on this video entry! Perfect intro for the subject matter you are filming.

When Thriller was released in 1983, I was a young man of 28. Having listened to the Jackson 5 as a teenager, I was already familiar with Michael Jackson. Now, as an old man approaching 70, I remember the impact Michael Jackson had on music of the 20th century. Back in the day when Thriller was filmed, there was people standing around in large crowds watching. Now, with this remake from his nephew, not only are the streets blocked and no people are allowed but, guards using umbrellas to block the view from outside of the filming area? I get the security however, why not just put up a tall dark screen from one corner of the street to the other to block the view instead of using umbrellas to try and block the view from anyone filming. So silly. How stupid things have gotten these days. I only wish I had known how great the 80's were when I was living it. Thanks for the video anyway, sir. You gave it your best!

Nobody had cameras on their phones when John Landis filmed. That's my guess why they don’t allow people closer.

MJ was so big back in the day. I was just a little kid when the Thriller video came out. It was kind of a scary video to little kids. He was so big they sold out the college football stadium here three nights in a row on that tour(the whole weekend). I’m in Knoxville TN home of the Vols so we’re talking one of the biggest college stadiums too. Plus it was one of the first shows with a big laser light show production in it and I remember people making a big deal about that. You couldn’t find a single MJ jacket or glove for sale in the whole town even a week before the shows as every store was sold out of every color and style(all the department stores sold them at the time). My first concert and it was amazing!!!

Absolutely wonderful footage! You done an amazing job. You are also a great dude. Thank you so much for your heart felt dedication and your humble personality. In 1992 Me and Michael used to write back and forth to eachother, I still have the things that Michael gave to me. I was able to connect with Michael because I was friends with his clerk at the Madison Palace Hotel in New York. I was told that Michael enjoyed the picture of me dressed in the thriller outfit and he smiled at my picture as he walked down the hallway. I was almost chosen to become one of his background dancers. But he was so busy at the time. I lost contact with Michael in 1995.

I saw Quincy Jones conduct the orchestra playing Thriller on Halloween night 2009. There are you tube clips still on you tube. The security people last night were just doing their jobs ..... They want the show to be a secret until its time to show it .... Again, Thanks for showing this!!

The production might have thought Mike was a spy for another production. I see the GiV's video as FREE PUBLICITY for this production. A long shot here: this production company invites Mike into the set and meets the actor portraying Michael Jackson. I hope this biopic does very well when released.
