the killer can see it already if he sprints, but this isn't a big deal since they don't know that footsteps exists nor how to track them

Yes sarc but if you do it at the start of a game it lets the killer know exactly where to go at the map which is quite a big afvantage

When Vikk was in the exit next to the end where JJ downed him all he had to do was crawl like a foot and he would have escaped but instead he tried to recover and he laid there got picked up and died
