I always enjoy these videos that you post and find them to be hugely informative, but I particularly enjoyed this one as you exhibit wisdom that belies your age and are so humble about the speed at which you think you and others should paint. You're evidently very aware that many newcomers swing by your channel, and I think you've done them a wealth of good by encouraging them to take their time to learn their craft properly. As you say, speed comes with practice and proficiency. Keep up the awesome work, Sam! 🙌❤👌

You are a very talented masochist. 😊 The 50 min part was great as a color sketch. Also was super illuminating about how you built the color behind the white of the car. As an art director, we use the reflective surfaces of cars to add life to photos. But I didn’t realize how much soft color (beyond the auto paint color) is actually getting pulled in. If you are looking for topics for future videos, would love more in-depth about building dimension thru color and about bounced light - what comes after basic shading and directional light. Thanks!
