The cursed thing about the James reskin is the fact that the 34’s were rebuilt 30s which were rebuilt 652’s, which are basically just the 812s. Meaning that technically, James would be related to Donald and Douglas

An idea for Chris to do is an actual James and Percy, I know I'd love to have them in TS and so would many others. Another Idea is the J70 trams. You could also get some good routes out of that such as the Westbeach Tramway or any other Tramway.

LMAO... TBF there's actually an SCP that's a ghost train...SCP 1489 actually (had to go look it up)--intruigingly enough the engine is described as a Beattie Well Tank

James’ basis is a L&Y class 28 (if you read the wiki: he was built with the a front axle to stop “diving”)

fun fact... the Rev W. Awdry had originally made James based off the G&SWR 403 Class (2-6-0) so in actual fact that the CR 34 class is fairly similar to what the Rev based.

Anyway, no. Rev. W Awdry changed his mind and chose a Class 28 from the Lancashire & Yorkshire and altered the arrangement from an 0-6-0 to a Mogul with 5’6” driving wheels.

I personally can still have a great time with Thomas material...as long as it's the classic RWS and not the TV series. Maybe not the right place to bring this up, but given James' original basis being a 3F that means he'd likely be no more than a 2P for passenger working. Would a class 2P really be a suitable stand in on the Express for Gordon who even in his rebuilt form is still likely a 7P? I'm not sure.

Using the physics from an LBSCR K-class mogul probably wouldn't be bad. The K moguls at least were 4P5Fs - better than potentially 2P3F.

Another great video Dark, really do like the look of this class. In terms of engines with interesting wheel arrangements we’d like to see in TS, I’d really like to see the LSWR G16 4-8-0T that we’re built for hump shunting are Feltham Marshalling Yards. They look seriously awesome and brawny, and it would be cool to have hump shunting in TS. Keep up the great work!

SCP173 is kinda like a Weeping Angle from Dr Who. The only difference is that rather than teleporting you back in time, it simply snaps your neck. Best advice would be not to blink when near it.

Pheonix foundry great NAME and PROFILE PICTURE. BUT D3 639 was built at newport not the Phoenix foundry.

@@rosaleal6043 I have had people point this out and I used to have a different name but my profile picture was still 639. I then changed my name to Pheonix Foundry but I haven't bothered to change my profile picture. I was going to get a picture of the Y Class on the recent suburban trip but as you may be aware she threw a hissy fit so 639 will have to remain for the time being.
