I worked for a beautiful,old Punjabi Hindu.She loved this mantra.We listened for hours,daily.I loved her dearly,she taught me so much about life through her experiences.She loved all people,enjoyed life voraciously in her sweet,quiet way.Now she has past on,I still find peace in Ek Onkar,satnam......waheguru,waheguru,waheguru.🌷

We are blessed to have such great men who appeared on our soil - Guru Nanak Ji, Vardhhaman Mahavir, Goutam Buddha, Adi Shankaracharya, Swami Vivekananda and so on. They belonged to the world - we have so many things to learn and adapt into our life to make this world a better place.

I am also Christian my husband is mona sikh I never got Guru Nanak ji in my dreams but from childhood I have been admirer of Nanak Ji . Today I love to hear shabad .Every morning we first play it so that even it reaches children ear. It is simple preaching which touches the heart.

Even though I am not sikh..my MIL was from Sikh guru family..I feel at peace by listening this Ek Onkar. I feel at peace sitting at Gurudwara with their soothing bhajans..love Sikhism..best religion in world..they reach with their langar wherever needed..they never ask any1 their religion and never ask ppl to convert to avail langar or other facilities..wish I born in sikh family next birth...

The concept of feeding people in Gurdwara simply blown away me. I learned that Golden temple serves about 100000 meals daily. I have been to Gurdwara in both Ahmedabad and in Mohali. Initially I was curious to know what is below the cloth in the raised platform. Then I started reading Sikhism. I came to know that we are bowing to the holy book considered as living embodiment of guru. I came to know about the concept of formless, genderless, universal God. Which I strongly believe. Each religion follows the same God in different ways and concepts. There is only one God. We are living in a time of era where particular religion being targeted. I was so impressed with Sikhism that any caste,race, religion and social status people can enter the Gurdwara and eat free meal all three times. Wahe guru.
