I love this guy. He is interesting, special. Many people think he is a hard man but he is a honest, warm-hearted, easy going man. I never get tired of him..

Oh wow- this was so great. Thank you for posting and great questions. I spent a lot of time getting to know him a couple years after Sochi, but this is the first time I'm seeing him several months. So it's great to hear all that's going on with his school and his thoughts on today's skating. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when he said he was done with the sport, mainly cuz I first saw him at what became the end of his career. Maybe he thinks if he says it enough times, he'll believe his words that he's done.Also- as an American, I'm overjoyed to hear him list Nathan Chen among those other great skaters. His top three picks for the Olympic podium are good ones ;) I love them all so much.
