I love how Lane Hutson has 8 goals 6 assists in 11 games and last year 48 points in 39 games as a defenseman in the NCAA and he's not a top 50 but Simashev has 2 points in 29 games in the KHL and is. Like what?

Alright. Hot take I guess. Why is Seth Jarvis not on this list? He’s in the age range, and has shown he can play in the playoffs, and has grown significantly in each off season? I think he has been tremendously snubbed

I kept waiting to see Lafreniere’s name come up but once it got up in to the 10-15 range, I came to the realization that he’s not even on the list. This makes no sense to me. Am I crazy or has he not been great this year?

Leo Carlsson is one scary player. He might be the guy to watch. He is a quarter back. He controls the play. Was the best player on the ice a couple games. My Brother has him as a dark horse to win the Calder. I think Bedard is going to be a lot like Pettersson. Little better maybe. Byfeild is under rated. Quickly becoming one of the better players out there. And he is a big guy.

Yeah even the biggest CH haters or critics can’t say they’re not top50 in that very restrained department. Disappointing, underperforming, slowly progressing or not Slaf is still an extremely recent #1 Draft pick, even if he has among the roughest start in history for a first overall.

Honestly I'd pick slaf, caufield, reinbacher, hutson and guhle ahead of alot of those players. And it's Not a bias opinion I've literally watched alot of these prospects lol it doesn't make any sense this list

As a Flyers fan, we finally see Cutter Gauthier getting some much-deserved love at #17, especially what he is doing and will do this year at BC & USNT. Cutter & Cooley undoubtedly are Top-2 of the 2022 draftees apologies to Slaf & Wright :-///... Gauthier will take NHL by storm with his goal-scoring prowess and will most assuredly be a Calder Trophy Candidate next year... Matvei I believe FOR SURE belongs at least in Top-10 of this list given he is currently the highest ppg scorer in KHL HISTORY at 18 YEARS OLD!!!

Leo Carlsson has played 16 games, in every game, he has look showcased and projected superstar potential. a potential top 10 NHL player in the next few years.

I think the top 5 is spot on the only thing I'd change there is switching the Hughes bros around but after that top 5 it's still super hard to rate where everyone else will be but other than a few names standing out as being too high like Dobson, Svech, Miller I think it's not a bad list based on potentials

I think you can make an argument for Alex Vlasic being on this. He’s 22 and he looks like a veteran out there. Great on both ends of the ice and he easily looks like a top pairing dman out there

QB#55’s playmaking ability with his skating and creativity and speed already is very good and you can see that with some of the “lay ups” he has created for Kopitar & Kempe and their reactions after scoring says it all. Obviously 🙄 there is a bias with the Ducks two prospects Zegras & Minty & all I can say is it will probably not be long for them to reconsider where they ranked them. I appreciate Graviteh’s honesty and opinions too.

Overall, this was pretty accurate. I'm a biased Habs fan, but certainly Caufield deserves that spot. Although not defensive, he's a bonafide goal scorer and was a massive part of that Stanley Cup final run. For the clutch factor alone he deserves to hold that spot.

As of right now Kandre miller is leaps and bounds above Byfield. I also dont think Grav watches much Kings games he just did a video on Byfield recently and mentioned it in this video saying Byfield is a beast on the forecheck, they literally play a 1-3-1 and don't do much forechecking at all. He also alludes to his physical play, but the guy has 116 games played and has 83 hits. Hes a good player, but i don't think hes some force. He also has 116 gamss played and only 11 goals.. his season high is 5.

Mitchkov is there, Hutson should be at very least in the top 20, and is not even top 50 lmao, lets look at some stats, Luke Hughes last year in the NCAA: 39 GP, 10 goals, 48 points 24 +/- at 19 yo, Hutson: 39 GP, 15 goals, 48 points, 25 +/- at 18 yo, and somehow luke hughes is ranked 13 and hutson isnt top 50? that is hilarious

How is Stützle arguable top 5? He is so comparable to Hughes in so many ways. I swear just because Hughes was a 1st overall pick everyone thinks he’s miles ahead of Tim and I can’t understand it. No Peterka (or Quinn) is a joke - JJ Peterka has 8 goals, 15 points right now and both had solid rookie seasons and tore up the AHL. Not to mention Zach Benson looks like he easily cracks the list right now. Call me a Sabres homer, but all 3 of those guys could and should easily be in the top 50.

Caufield is struggling this year, sure he had a point per game in 12 games, but it's starting to fall now as predicted. Here in Montreal we love our 60 pts players, forget about 80+ this year again, unless he get's scoring only 5 goals is kinda crazy, it just shows they need another top end player, which they never have since what Damphouse? Turgeon? Recchi? Kovalov? Even these players were not Superstars.

Give it some time. They just started a rebuild. An 80 pt player isn't just gonna come in. The players we have have the potential to score 80+ but don't expect it to happen so early on in a rebuild. Give it time.

how can you say eklund at 49 is right? he is playing top line and driving play for a god aweful sharks team and still has 1LW ceiling and is only 21.

Eklund is 21 and has 6 points while getting 1st line minutes and PP1. Slafkovsky is 19 has 5 points while getting 2nd line minutes and PP2 and isnt even on the list…

you realize points are not everything he actually drives play. and talking about points when the team averaged a goal a game for the first 12 games of the year is not a smart argument. the entire team has performed poorly does that mean that everyone on the team is a bum? no it does not. also no one is talking about slaf because he looks lost out there. Eklund actually plays a 2 way game and drives play offensively. theres arguments for other players but Slaf sadly is not one of them and I was super high on him in his draft year before he jumped to #1@@thomasdeschamps9732

1.Simashev is Zadorov with better skating and hopefully more braincells. He wiill never be a high scoring OD. He might be in the right tier there. 2.Askarov that low is WILD though. He is having a great start in the AHL. As a goalie he is suppposed to be getting into his own in a couple of years only. I don't see him below the expectation curve and that curve is high. He is way too low on the list. 3.Nikishin that low is just laughable. He is a Top10 prospect. 4.Mintyukov might be the runaway best rookie or young player not named Bedard this season. Yeah, sure, he is somewhere in the 30s. 5.Michkov at 16? Alright? Stop smoking whatever you are smoking. Whoever you are who made the list. You see where this is going. This is just the ususal american xenophobia towards Russians.
