I always love going into my hometown OHL team's arena in the Peterborough Petes. That team and building is incredibly historic. As a journalist, I get to go there often for press conferences and conduct interviews. Eventually the company I work for will move into game coverage. The Petes are fantastic to work with and talk to.

William Allman Arena located in Stratford ON, has been unchanged (aesthetically) since it’s open in 1924. Ed Olczyk, Rob Blake, Chris Pronger, and Tim Taylor all played for their Junior B team and Wayne Gretzky actually scored his first ever minor league goal in that arena!

I recently discovered this cool TSN KZfaq channel & am enjoying it thus far. This particular video i found hilarious & informative imo. I didn’t know that Wayne Gretzky played for the “OHL” Peterborough Petes but when i looked into it, it says that Gretzky only played 3 games for the “Petes” in 1976-77 season as a 15yr old & was a call up from the Jr.B “Seneca Nationals” in which he tallied up a total of 3 assists. It’s still really cool though imo for the city of Peterborough & the Peterborough Petes organization to say that the “Great One” played for the “Petes” 👍

You should go to Kamloops and watch a Blazers game. Not only does the team have a lot of history, but Kamloops is the tournament capital of Canada so there is lots of sporting activities you can do in the town.
