The new MAC member Saburo Sato breaks the mold in every way. He uses his experience in Africa to face the Monster Bango that appeared from underground with a dance from the Saima Tribe. When they find out that Bango tends to imitate others, they inflate the MAC uniform with air like a balloon and head into battle.

This looks more like an Ultraman Taro episode than an Ultraman Leo one. So I wonder if this isn't an unused script. And it's a proof Ultraman Leo is not so dark, serious or oppressive as many say nowadays... Sato is a really interesting and funny character. A pity he only appears once. I like this Jin-san... I mean, Decker Asumi-type character.

He definitely feels like he came one series too late XD To make the script theory even more likely, this episode is pretty much the first with almost no Dan, and no training montage. It's the most Otori just being a Defense Team member we've seen so far.

@@EvilDoresh Yeah, Dan being mostly absent does sound like the usual Taro episode where Asahina would be a no-show. Wouldn't be surprised if the lines Dan's had here were meant to be Aragaki's since he was pratically the actual ZAT captain

What the heck? This episode is completely follow childish way (like Ultraman Taro series) more than dark theme. It is not Ultraman Leo series' style that we know, it is Ultraman Taro series' style. This episode is no murder and no training to learn tactic to kill Kaiju or Seijin, even no drama either. Oh my, Vango's design is completely look like Ultraman Taro's Kaiju more than Ultraman Leo's Kaiju, this design is too childish for this series ☹️. This episode is focused funny and enjoyable more than serious. Adult not enjoy watch THIS 😞. Keep forward, Ultraman Leo (hopefully back to dark theme)🤗.

Ultraman Leo series has its dark moments but also funny moments as well. The first 10 episodes are dark and the ending episodes after episode 40 to 51 are dark as well. I can say most episodes are dark but a few episodes are quite funny like this episode is an example. Overall I can say the series is around 80% dark and 20% funny?
