TSW 3: ICE 1 vs. ICE 3

A really anticlimactic ending to a really intense race.
This was also my first time editing a video:
A- Before I uploaded it
B- Using the KZfaq video editing thingy
Meaning i have no clue how this is going to turn out, but I'm still going to upload it because,

Ich habe mir auch vor einiger Zeit tsw3 gekauft und bin sehr beeindruckt, wie gut das Spiel ist. Das neue Trainingszentrum ist mein persönlicher Favorit und werde mir demnächst auch Oldenburg Bremen holen. Aber im großen und ganzen ein ziemliches Upgrade gegenüber TSW2. Spiele auch dieses Spiel.

you can't really compare them bcs if it's speed the ICE 1 is only limited to 250 or 280km/h and the ice 3 has 330km/h so it's not really comparable tbh. :,)

En termes de graphismes, la qualité de l'éclairage, de la météo, du ciel et des effets a augmenté, mais tout le reste est à peu près le même.

Press 3 and move around with arrow keys (your camera will move with the train) or press 8 and move with areow keys (your camera won’t move with the train.

I find that the rounder nose ice train has good motors and slower brakes. And the boxy ice train has good brakes and slower motors. Takes forever to get moving and loses a lot of speed on the uphills

The box one (ICE 1) was built in sometimes during the 90’s I think and the ICE 3 is a lot more modern that was built in post 2000 that’s why they are like that

@Damian C.0.6 it's because all of the wheels on the ICE 3 are powered by traction motors. On the ICE 1 only the front and rear Locomotives are powered by Traction motors, that's why it takes longer to get upto speed and when it goes uphill it's own weight works against it because it weighs nearly 1,000 tonnes.

@@C20F It kinda is, propulsion systems were way more advanced ten years after the ICE 1 was designed :P

@@C20F That is the reason, at least in this case. The ICE 3 was designed around 10 years after the ICE 1 started production, and in that time propulsions were way more advanced. IGBTs and really efficient GTOs (Sibas 32. which the ICE 3 uses) were a thing, which really wasn't the case back when the ICE 1 was originally built. The ICE 1 represented in-game uses ABB IGBT inverters, but still the original AEG motors, which really aren't that efficient either.

And adding to the braking part: the ICE 1 has magnetic brakes on every passenger car, which are normally applied during an emergency brake. The ICE 3 has eddy current brakes, which are normally only used for emergency brakes except on three high speed routes where they're also unlocked for normal braking, but it 1. has less cars and therefore less eddy current brakes and 2. only has eddy current brakes on the unpowered cars (being 2, 4, 5, 7)
