If you’re a new restaurant owner, you'll likely want to get your place listed on Zomato and Swiggy as soon as possible. These platforms help people discover your restaurant quickly and give you access to a delivery fleet. However, the downside is the high commission fees that these food aggregators charge, which is why prices on Zomato often differ from the restaurant’s own menu.
Chandigarh-based uEngage aims to solve this problem for restaurant owners in India. The startup provides various services like Edge, which lets you create your own ordering app, Flash, which helps manage deliveries and riders, and Prism, which automates marketing. uEngage is also active on ONDC, helping businesses join the open network for digital commerce.
Sameer does not only talk about the painpoints for new restaurant owners but also why it should matter to end users like us. Watch the full episode now.
