"To Lille" ?! That's pretty long ! Respectfully, let me say that there's no way DTG is going to make such a route. The longest route yet doesn't even reach 200 km and you want a 300 km distance route ?! Then I hope you're ready to wait for a whole year and a half and then pay 60$ for the DLC. Moreover, what's the point of driving in the Channel Tunnel ? You'll be in it for almost 40 minutes making the route long and boring for lack of landscaping. I'm sorry but a Channel Tunnel route would be a mess.

Most likely that will NEVER EVER Happen due to how long the route would be. It would most likely be a 373 in france as yk SCNF Had them for a while before putting all of them in storage then later scrap. It'll either be that or London Waterloo International to Ashford International back dated.

@@Ferro-Moczs I can agree that a route like that is unrealistic to expect from DTG at this point in time! As for your comment about a route featuring the Channel Tunnel being pointless, well that simply depends on the type of player you are! I personally prefer a realistic driving experience and have an abnormally long attention span, so I’d happily drive between St Pancras and Lille even if it involves starting at tunnel walls for an extended period of time! I’d also happily tare my bank account to shreds to do so!

Bro, y'all want TSW4 to take over the planet ! All of this sounds exciting but unrealistic unfortunately. You can't just extend SEHS to France like that. First, that's an insane project that demand a lot of hard work. Second, don't you think guys that driving on the channel tunnel for about 40 minutes without any landscaping is kinda boring ? Sadly won't be happing and It's been confirmed by DTG multiple times on their streams It won't be happening. The route is simply just too tooo long especially that with SEHS We have the Dartford Branch as well & Faversham. The route would be unplayable like The ECML (Peterborough to Doncaster) So It'll most likely be in a SCNF (Ex-Eurostar) Livery in France as SCNF Did loan? I think it was, A Bunch of them over there for their services then years later they stored then scrapped them all.

And on top of all that your wishing for a Dover Priory Branch? No that would simply just be impossible and It would take forever to build and get the licences. If Dover was to come to Train Sim World 4 the route it would be on is SEHS. There has been a few talks in the Past of SEHS being extended AGAIN To have the whole Loop in there: St Pancras - Dover (Via Ashford), St Pancras - Dover (Via Canterbury East), St Pancras - Ramsgate (Via Ashford & Canterbury West), St Pancras - Ramsgate (Via Herne Bay & Faversham) See what I'm on about? It would make more sense for SEHS to have that loop rather then a giant section of Track towards France. (Personally that would of been better than the Dartford Branch) But that can't be fixed now!

Can't really see it coming to SEHS as it's mostly full on Layers the same as Brighton mainline. That's why there are no services and only scenarios on the Cargo Line Vol 2 dlc for SEHS and only scenarios. Be interesting to see. The other thing g is that Adam, aka Lucazone is a Channel Tunnel fan so you never know.

yeah but I think the issue with BML is density of services more than sheer numbers - there are so many on the same (largely) paralell pair of lines. A Eurostar service should have less effect when you're at e.g. Faversham, because although it's running in the system, the model wouldn't be rendered

@@nwsimon No there will not be anymore layers added to SEHS. Thats why there are only Scenarios on SEHS added for the Cargo Line pack. DTG have advised awhile ago about it.

What they could do( but wouldn’t really make sense) ,is to make a section of the ECML that dates back to the GNER era. Back when they had 373s working for them. They wouldn’t even need a license anymore since the operator doesn’t exist today

@lewiss626 nah it's definitely doable, you'd be hitting two birds with one stone - get ECML:South which people want (although it's a bit boring) and the 373. To my knowledge it hasn't had a massive amount of changes between the 2000s and now, only really the extra 2 tracks into KX and maybe the Hitchin Flyover (I might be imagining that one) and a few others. Whoever is developing the 373 knows they'd have to include all the systems on the trains, all the different voltages and safety systems - this is what is most likely holding DTG back from developing a NoL 373. It's a long and complex train.

it would be cool but, the ecml in tsw4 is set in modern day and gner went defunct in 2007 and the gner Eurostar sets were withdrawn from the ecml in 2005 and were then sent to France where they ran domwstic high speed services by SNCF

That's exactly why it ain't happening (St Pancras to Paris/Lille) The route a 373 would most likely do is a route in France as if you've heard, SCNF Hired/Loaned a few 373s from Eurostar and re-did some of the front and put them out on their routes for a couple of years before they later stored then SCRAPPED them. It could either be that or London Waterloo International to Ashford International via the SEML & CML. Probably one of those 2.
