Thanks Steve. Your words inspire me too. It may be, that Hornby go into their own block detection but, I’m prepared this time, in case they let it go again. It may be possible to drive some locos through the app and others using Digitrax or, Digikeijs / Yamorc. Used to have a couple of Yamaha acoustics but, never their keyboards but, yes, am sure it’s a beauty. There’s more muso modelers than we think 🤔

Thanks! Didn't want to rush the journey or, break off in order to get say, a set deadline rota going, as a must do, above all else, as it were. It was extremely hard not to do that but, my head was in a more creative mode, rather than screen editing. Got so much backlog now being the up or, downside :)

Do you know how much flexi track is needed to replicate the track you get in the Easterner set?

@@Hyr1an I've not looked, tbh, as I don't do box sets. Peco Flex Track comes in 3 foot (914mm) lengths. There's the inevitable off-cut waste bits, depending on your Flex Track laying skills & planning. Very Approx... 3rd Radius in TT full circle needs 4 lengths, that should give you some left over, then how much straight & siding length you need but, 6 lengths, I'd say, at a minimum. Hope that helps.

Bringing two passions together, well actually three, possibly four because I love the sound different instruments make, fed through the tech’ old and new, plus the creation side, of music so, yes, this then this links to modeling and, which leads us, on and on across the universe, to a fifth, the spiritual element of creation, that creates the flow within you and without you 🙏. Will let it wash like an ocean tide, lapping on the shoreline, creating beautiful sounds and Picasso patterns below and, toward a sunsetting coat of many colours ⭐️

I do like the scale & the models I've invested in, very much. My only concern at present, is the fog surrounding Simon's sudden departure and, so soon, after TT:120, the TV series 2, The Flying Scotsman Centenary involvement with NRM, then HM7000 & all the decoders, etc. Something has never felt easy in me, about how it all ended & that made me a little sad after all that great news. We all judge too much from hearsay. I wish Simon & Hornby all the best, going forward. Together or, apart.

@@PeckhamHall Oh James, wow, I’ve just looked him up, he’s incredible. What a gift, thank you 🙏. Can I be really open with you here. When I began these videos, the feeling I got was, you can help other people, by doing whatever it is you love to do. I also know, don’t ask me how, that there is a kind of spiritual connection too going on, as there is when creating music. To me this and, modeling are like chalk and cheese but, they’re not at the same time. I heard Bob describe how he creates a beautiful place, etc, etc, and when I began painting the back scenes, they were my exact thoughts, there’s a love in there and a flow, once you begin. It flows freely through you onto the canvas of choice. At this moment something very deep in me moved and, it is at this point where I had to step back from making videos, to begin to learn how to make them, more in that way. Hence the gap because it’s not a lack of creativity, it’s how I get out of the way now, to let this flow , freedom without scripts and plans, deadlines and narratives or, how it should be, etc. There are no errs and errrrms to edit out when in flow, just endless abundance, joy, love and balance in glorious unfolding moments if we can just let ourselves be again. Thank you so much again for drawing my attention to Bob. ❤😅
