Well, I shat my pants watching this vid, can't even imagine sitting in that sidecar....doing 270 km/h..The trust, these guys must have in eachother as a team trying to keep that sidecar on these difficult roads.. unbelievable!

having been a sidecar passinger, this film footage is exactly how it would look through the passenger's eye . the sensation of speed is spot on . a lot of film clips are deciving.

f preston what is the passengers role in steering? How much control does each person have on the bike ?

Dylan M weight distribution thru corners, also grip, passenger has masses of input without them you wouldnt be able to steer thru corners at speed or as tight, never rode in one but a friends dad used to own a company which built sidecar frames for racing and also race and road swing arms ( Metmachex engineering) i believe he also used to race but not 100% on tnat. I imagine a passenger does even more than what ive said aswel
