We sat down with TT Head of Music Chris P Cuts to give us his overview of TT Live sessions, tell us more about his background in the music industry, and give us an insight into his musical philosophy at TT Liquor.
TT Live sessions are stripped-back soulful performances, featuring established and up-and-coming artists covering a wide variety of genres and musical styles, hosted by Chris P Cuts on the first Tuesday of every month. For each event, we serve our Live Sessions menu across the building with a lineup of Hennessy based cocktails.
Previous artists have included C.Tappin, Raquel Martins, Bonita House Band, Georgie Sweet, White Girl Wasted, Profusion, Sharky, Plumm, Sophya, Daniella Wizard, Joshua Idehen, Benny Morrell, Alma De La Selva and Kadija Kamara.
Entry is always free but seats are only available until they aren’t. Our sound system will have you covered wherever you are in the bar though, so if you can’t see the performance you’ll still be able to hear it.
Every Friday and Saturday night in the Cellar Bar from 8 till late we invite DJs down to bring their extensive vinyl collections and play an eclectic blend of music from soul, funk and disco to hip-hop, house and everything in between, but always keeping it soulful.
Alongside our talented Head of Music and resident DJ, Chris P Cuts, we’ve had an array of guests including Eglo Records Mastermind Alexander Nut, UK Legend Shortee Blitz, Cherry B, Nick Williams, Layla Rutherford, Keith Lawrence, Janeen and New York hip-hop veterans Stretch and Bobbito.
