Thanks Dan, very entertaining. Nice to see your dad showing what he can do. You can have all the technique in the world but there's nothing to beat a bit of natural ability, guile and experience. Having seen your dad play at local tournaments I had a feeling he might spring a surprise or two.

WHOA! Well done and congratulations Tom (Mr. Consistent) for winning the tournament! And what a performance by the Chairman. Enjoyed every bit of Captain's famous whips. But honestly, I was hoping and expecting to see Umair lifting the cup. Man, he is from some other planet! What was that backhand?? Is that even possible???!!! Insane!!! Love the entire TTD team, and specially Pocket Rocket! I realised only recently his last name is 'Mauthoor'. The whole family has God level TT skills it seems. I played a few games against Zayd 4-5 years ago in an inter-corporate event and felt really proud of myself after scoring about 7-8 points in total in 3 sets I lost to him in a row. :P

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Congrats to the finalists well done.

It's great that you make such tournaments in your club, entertain yourself and have fun. I'm not surprised that Tom won this tournament. I don't know the level of the other players, but when Tom and Dan warmed up and tested their rackets in the TTD videos, it was noticeable that Tom is a stronger and more stable player than Dan. Although Dan plays very well for an amateur. It’s a pity that Dan was knocked out in the very beginning. Wanted to see him in the final.
