Not gonna lie, I like the way el compa negro gets genuine pleasure from singing banda and corridos. Its just like when white people hear tupac or biggie on their pandora and they start rapping to the song like they're thug life even though they are from the hills. This guy has the courage to go out infront of a huge crowd and perform mexican melodies con huevos!

I think the difference is, actually a Ranchero, and grew around predominantly Mexicans, and was around the actual culture since he was a child. It's probably more true to heart than someone trying to be a gangsta rapper that never lived that life. I understand what you're saying though. Hope this kid does well. He's only 19 or so!

Just to clarify, yes, we do have Afro Mexicans and yes, slavery was a thing in Mexico. It was simply abolished way before the US abolished it. After that many Africans stayed in Mexico because they were free to build a life and could actually earn something for the work they put in. They mixed with our people and that’s why we have Afro Mexicans now. There are even still African tribes in Mexico.

Les hago notar esto. A mi no me gusta esta musica ni la trago. Vengo de una familia muy musical y Pepe Garza siempre critica la actitud en los participantes. El chavo este no se intenta justificar con sus comentarios de que es de otra cultura y el idioma. Pepe Garza es un ojete aparte de prepotente. El es el conductor del programa y productor. El Compa Negro tenia a toooda la audiencia disfrutando, hay cantantes conocidos que tambien les falta el aire en alguna presentacion y es normal, especialmente cuando tienes la adrenalina hasta arriba, asi que Pepe Garza si lees esto deja de mamar y dar de topes, El Compa Negro es bueno en lo que proyecta y deja de ser ojete y prepotente. Mi papa ve tu show y yo en ocaciones, he visto buenos participantes y por algun detalle te portas cruel con ellos, la gente tonta que se rie de tus comentarios crueles no entienden como lastiman tambien a la gente. Por ultimo he visto algunas entrevistas que haces y pues tambien no eres tan bueno en ellas. Asi que todos tenemos cola que nos pisen.
