i like so high school, it reminds me of the diary of me, but its like looking at a memory and trying your best to feel the same enthusiasm for life you had back in high school; idk how to explain it but despite it having rock pop winds in it it sounds like a sepia track, is it possible to hear colors? lol

Great review Kevin! I also teared up on "The Manuscript". Especially, the last lyric. There is always talk about closing one Era when starting another. I feel TTPD is already closing it's door as I there are so many references in posts as well as the last lyric that she has moved on. Addtional MVs will be quick [ I feel there will be 3 total]. She will add to Eras tour as well. When she announced TTPD she made mention that as soon as one recording is released she starts on another. RepTV may very well come in August now. This TTPD has been rough for her.

Black Dog I think is a career highlight, one of my favorite songs of hers. Overall, I really like TTPD + Anthology. I'm still forming my opinion, but I think I might put this duo album next in my rankings after Folkmore, which is top for me. Not sure yet, but either way I think it's a very solid release. The main negative to me is how much of it is about MH, who is just gross. I have to put who the songs are about out of my head to really enjoy them.

You’re right. This does feel like this is the first album that fits. In every other album, it feels like 1-3 songs maybe not fit in with their album. Even though I have some that I’m not a big fan of, the album as a whole is great and is unskipable!

TTPD IS MY NEW FAVORITE ALBUM IDK HOW PEOPLE THINK ITS BORING 😭

I honestly think this many songs are overwhelming. It’s… too much. I can’t get into album 2 yet. And there are so many songs about Matty compared to Joe, which is kinda surprising. And her energy around it all feels a little toxic? But maybe I’ll warm up more… I do really like Down Bad. But that’s the only major stand out for me so far.
