The thing I love most about kk is that even if he sings high notes his voice doesn't crack or break, it sounds very passionate. And A R Rahman appreciated same thing about KK. Even our own Oscar winner AR Rahman said that after Legendary Kishore Kumar , he first time saw a singer who can sing high pitch so easily and perfectly.... And btw he has also hit the highest note among Bollywood singers... Go and check out his Alvida (Life In A Metro), O Meri Jaan ( Life In A Metro), Mai Khuda ( Paanch), The Rock Song ( Manjunath), O Mama ( 7 Khoon Maaf) etc etc

Eimraan Hashmi is actually known for that. Doesn’t matter even if the movie is full on crap, the soundtrack (the songs) are going to be phenomenal. He’s also known for his amazing lipsync and expressions in the music video. He literally merges with the song.

Fun fact: Arijit in the start of his career was the studio engineer at pritam's studio around 2007-2015. In kk's prime, many of the songs were recorded by Arijit(as in he supervised the recording sessions). So pritam used to compose and Arijit used to sing scratches of all these songs and then singers used to refer his voice. That's how he got the break once a producer liked the scratch version

Bro you are absolutely correct. Arijit worked 4-5 years as notes and music arranger under Pritam and used to do the scratch singing before the singer recorded it

KK has sung most no. of songs for Emraan Hashmi. In 14 movies he has been his voice... 14 isn't easy. This kind of Actor-Singer duo was only found in the 70s-80s era which was Rajesh Khanna-Kishore Kumar duo. Also, Pritam has been the composer of most of the Emraan Hashmi films. Zara Sa, Dil Ibadat which you reacted before were also screened on Emraan Hashmi.

So that's what I am trynna say. Also, Rafi Saheb never needed this kind of uplift, he could emote any actors style in his singing... He was Alien... Nobody can find a kind of Human like Rafi Saheb.

KK is my 2nd most favourite singer after Arijit Singh KK was the God of High Notes in India there is literally no one who sung high notes better than him in late 90's and early 2000's but the fact is that, He was very underrated. When KK sings at a high note his voice doesnt affected it sounds crystal clear alvida, o meri jaan and o mama are prefect examples I can say. All due respect to arijit , his voice gets distorted at certain point listen to his live concert. No hate to arijit I love his voice. Best thing about KK's voice was his voice sound young. If he lents his voice to senior actors or young it suits everyone, there are hardly any singer in bollywood have such young voice.

Arijit's range is higher brother. KK can just sing songs with feel and little bit of high range(maximum Bb 4).. But Arijit can sing classical to Rock anything cause he is very strongly trained in classical music, and Arijit's range is much higher(Upto Eb 5)

You had me when you said Emraan Hashmi makes the song "magnificent" cuz he is one of the greatest actors in India and also the best kisser (on screen obviously). About the part you said, "Maybe KK doesn't have much potential as Arijit on high notes", he's one with the sweetest, cleanest and smoothest voices out there and the way he sings all the high notes is a task in itself. @@bollyleo4235 Yes Ofcourse but what I'm trying to say is that he does it on purpose to maintain the authenticity and the feel of the song. This is a romantic song and the lines with high notes, "Tu wakt mere liye mai hu tera lamha.... kaise rahega bhala hoke tu mujhse juda" mean "For me, you are time and each and every moment of life... How will you live with me being apart from you" this needs a bit of softness rather than power. Man I love you and your reactions. As a singer and an Indian myself I just want you to know what really is the thinking process of singers while they record the songs. I get to know what the general audience genuinely think about Indian singers and I love to see you freak out on the parts of the songs that I freak out listening to. You're amazing man! But kk can sing more powerful high notes than Arijit and Arijit himself has said he came to music due to idolizing kk

@@bollyleo4235 No... Actually it's just the difference of Voice Texture. Arijit has a dark voice with Huskiness in it while KK has a voice with mix of great base & softness altogether. At High Notes, most of the singers(including Arijit) can't go smooth... Their voice cracks which sounds like "Pain in the voice" but itsn't the pain actually. KK is known for effortlessly singing High Notes with Feeling including. Also, he has done a lot of Rock music & was the first choice for that kind of songs with High Notes.

Alvida Tadap Tadap Ke Aye Bekhabar Phirta Rahoon Main Khuda O Mama Aur Tanha(2020 song) Jaane Ye Kya Hua Meri Maa Bas Ek Pal(Mithoon's first song) Even some party songs of him have high notes: Touch Me Main Tera Dhadkan Teri India Waale Khwaabon Khwaabon Main Kya Hoon Mujhko Pehchaan Lo O Jaana Etc.

Arijit took proper music lessons from begining but Kk learned everything by himself without any course on music but he always gave his best all the time. 💖⚡

Yeah.. KK should have took proper training in classical and then come to bollywood. KK ko bas feel aur range hi aata hai, singing mein utna pakka nahi hai abhi bhi. Its like a international cricketer and a gully cricketer, Arijit is international one because he took proper training and he is having theoretical knowledge of music.

God was sent him to earth to do something incredible, and he did more than that It wasn't going to happen so soon .... But when the time comes, everyone has to leave this world But he will remain in *our minds for the Rest of our lives* and for those who will come after us. I grew up listening to this man songs . No other singers will be able to take the place of this man for the next *100 years* It was not right for him to come to *Kolkata* and even if it was right, he was blessed with *very bad service till the end* ..
