I had a CLOSE friend of 30+ years. We set up a business in the Middle East, after i secured an exclusive distributor ship of this high end contact lens product , for several countries in the region. The business I worked on day and night for several years before I discovered he had stolen over a Million dollars.! It was initially challenging to come to terms with the situation but I did. I took out from the business what I was entitled to , left the business and went no contact When I got out, the business declined quickly and within a short time the business collapsed. I hear the money he stole he ended up losing through court costs, with other people. Now lives his life constantly looking over his shoulder, become paranoid, can sleep uses Alcohol to blot everything out. He's now also an Alcoholic. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

I'm glad you're addressing this. In your 20s & 30s, these people (both men and women) are very charismatic and fun. They can be doing seemingly interesting things with their life. They tend to be fun and have a lot of friends so their dark side can be hard to detect. They tend to be great conversationalists and storytellers. My experience has been they can be difficult to flush out even into your 40s, especially if you're only seeing them once in a while. That's why it's really important to assess their character because you might think this is a great person, invite them into your inner circle, then realize they're someone different and by then they've done some damage. It's important to learn how to read people.

The fun dudes are acquaintances, anyone with questionable behaviour you should never let have access to your home. True friends are the ones that have strong morals , character, family values.

I got another great example. One such old "buddy" contacted me again recently all happy and asking about my investors (ultra wealthy individuals). I checked with a mutual friend who then told me my "buddy" had secretly started a new business of sueing every rich person and company - with over 50 lawsuits on-going.

I had a couple of bad experiences. One was a fraud, another was someone with jealousy issues who also appeared unable to accept that my life has changed and moved on. This show resonates. I learned some of this the hard way. Pay attention to Rich on this, guys. I have been also lucky in having great friends who also steered me away from a few mistakes.

This type of information for guys to know is spot on, for Real. Dudes will sleep with your GF or even Wife. Personally know an old friend who slept with his 'buddies' wife, she got pregnant and had the child! there's three children in that family and 1 of them looks obviously exactly like him!! The wife named him the 'Godfather' of the children...The nightmare is Real.

Your best friend is yourself and if you are hearing this for the first time then you have some catching up to do.

Underrated topic, where I am from (Ukraine) we have very tight friendships and not as many siblings. After immigrating to Canada 16 years ago, ran into problems of having similar quality friendships, most were very unreliable and at an extended arm. So for the past 10 years, it has been just acquaintances and buddies, nothing more. And I became alright with that, my castle and space is much safer that way. However, i can feel the lack of peer communication over common interests, and hope that once I move to a more lively location, there will be more circles to connect with on the same level or higher. Better to have no friends than shit friends, especially when building life up. Thanks Rich.

This year, I had a "friend" sexually assault my LTR while she was passed out following a New Years Eve party. Long story short...I walked in, she was obviously passed out, I grabbed a firearm and held it to his head. I regret not pulling the trigger and now I'm dealing with not trusting anyone. Don't know if I'll ever allow someone inside my circle again.

Hi, I just found your video now on KZfaq. Great information. Thank you for sharing. Interesting to know this social dysfunction is happening across the spectrum of ages, races, etc. I’m not on social media anymore. I have been disassociating with whom ever God reveals is not for me as a true friend. It was challenging but I’m growing in grace and learning to move forward and trying to stay humble. Life is short and there’s a lot going on in this world. I’m learning to really live by faith and trust God. Being happy, content and at peace are daily goals for me. I’m so very glad to know there is support out there for men. I believe that there are new experiences and new people waiting to meet us that would bring great satisfaction and happiness to our lives but we have to learn to be open to people who are different. Blessings and Prayers to us all 🙏

I really don't have many friends, maybe a couple and the rest is family. All the rest are acquaintances or colleagues or just dickheads. I have male friends and female friends and have been like this my whole life. I may know a lot of people but they're not friends. They're just people I know. Stop looking for "friends" or hanging out with losers or those with questionable morals, male or female.

I feel for that xander but he's a guy making a limited option choice. He doesn't realize how bad that is. Actually its flat out stupid to try to fix his situation with a fight for a thousand reasons, but the number one reason is him being violent even if its mutually consentual makes it easy to show in a court hearing that he's violent or prone to violence and seeking it out. They could even play this video as evidence that he's seeking a violent confrontation. it gets worse from there but that alone could mean never seeing his daughter againt. the best thing he can do is get an actual lawyer even if it means working 80 hours a week to get the money. your daughter needs a father. If mom is a dingbat, then she aint worth losing anything over. learn more about why you chose to impregnate a dingbat so you can make the changes you need to. ask the lawyer to try to get you full custody and child support.

Xander, it sounded like you don't pay child support and if you go legally you'll be made to and that's the real reason why you dont go full in. Maybe I just misinterpreted you. BUT what I would do if I was a father, I would get my daughter out of there and she would live with me full-time. Even if the legal costs made me bankrupt, I would fight for full custody.
