For a character that's so wild and out there, he is arguably the most grounded and realistic of the the academy, and I think you showed that perfectly :)

I cried way harder for Klaus than I did for any other character’s story line. There was just something about his that was just a little more relatable. He had the isolation that Luther and Five had, loss that Diego had, exclusion that Vanya had, and couldn’t see the one he loved like Allison. He had all of his siblings troubles and more. That’s why I think that Klaus’ character is so heartbreaking for everyone. He has a piece of pain that can relate to everyone.

This is so beautiful, Klaus and Number 5 definitely stole the show for me but Klaus’s character development was amazing, great video as always

Klaus probably the most messed up child, he had to deal with the dead and his father. And I thought Vanya had the most childhood at first. It was clearly Klaus.

I absolutly love how the show portrays both sides of pain with Vanya and Klaus. Vanya, hurted by not being special Klaus, hurted because he's special I think we often forget how much pain Klaus has to bury because he's always the happy and quirky one. So I love this edit because it shows his pain so perfectly that it hurts.

2:38 Christ, the shift from all three.. Klaus is an absolute mess, and I love him to death. Facade on top of facade, whether it's from the drugs or the alcohol or pointless jokes or changing the subject or being overly dramatic just so he can avoid the true agony of everything. Of course, that'll never work, because Klaus is put in constant agony throughout the show and even before then. I love his relationship with Diego especially, but I wish the others found out just how much he's gone through. My boy needs some serious comfort. Someone give him a hug.

i'm so high right now and it like I feel Klaus's pain so, so much. hence why I love his character and the way Robert portray's him,.Klaus is depressed- he has so many people to talk to yet feels like there's no one to talk to because he's alone yet surrounded by so many. he does drugs because he feels comforted by it, he doesn't know how to show love until he met David because of how cold his father was to him and his siblings. I know how it feels to do drugs just to stay at bay because without it you would drown. how it feels to not be able to love because of what you see and are shown. sorry for rambling.

I finished the show today and Klaus was by far my favorite character. You did a tremendous job here showing his emotional journey. I feel like it's too easy to primarily focus on the fun side of someone as eccentric as Klaus but you showcase his inner demons so well.

I believe that if anyone deserved to be loved and have the person he loved it was Klaus. He truly was the one character I couldn't take my eyes off from.

why does he have to be so good at crying,, His little “hey, Dave..” gets me every time. I just wanna hug him and tell him it’s going to be okay. The way he whimpers and sobs makes me dIE. It just makes me curl into a ball and scream. This compilation of him being upset is tearing my heart in two. It really makes me feel like I lost as much as he did. Poor Klaus. He deserves all the hugs. Every single one. All. The. Hugs.

Klaus was always true to himself. He knew he was a drug and alcohol addict but things change when he found someone who cared about him and loved him. Klaus has the most important character change from all.

I sobbed my heart out when he comes back to the present after Dave dies. The poor man, constantly suffering and even when he tries to help he's dismissed or abandoned by his siblings. At least Diego tries to reach him when he notices something's wrong.

In the last episode where he holds his dog tags, I was sobbing. It seemed that Dave was the only person who understood him and noticed him as something more than just 'stoner boy' unlike his siblings or his Dad. I really hope Klaus gets to see Dave in the next season somehow, that's all I want.

i love this video. even though are tears in my eyes. i think it captured klaus’ worst moments and the fact that he wasn’t just the comedic relief during certain scenes in the show. this video is so well made and i think it really shows his character development and how it changes through the show. very very beautiful but extremely sad xx

Speaking to the dead isn't an advantage. He can only speak to the people who chose not to go into that Light. so if Dave went into that Light he wouldn't have been able to see him (Klaus wouldn't). And the fact that you would have millions of lost souls in your head everyday, that's why he took the drugs.

Klaus and Vanya are same. Nobody takes them seriously, nobody really care about them. Nobody cares about their feelings... They have the most painful problems deep inside, what others from "family" do not see. They were both destroyed in childhood and nobody cares. I know, that everybody have their own demons, like Five, but they made them themselves. Five was stupid, alisson used her power even for utter stupidity, Diego needed to prove something and Luther wanted to be blind to his father's mistakes. Vanya and Klaus were locked (literally and metaphorically) and internally torn by their father since childhood.

Phenomenal. Like breathtakingly so. You show the depth and darkness beneath the snark and humor. Klaus is humor and heartbreak

I relate to Klaus. it’s kind of odd... but when I was thirteen my depression got so extreme that I hallucinated. they never had faces, but they always came in groups. I could be doing my homework, and look up, and be completely surrounded. I would be having a normal conversation, and all of a sudden they would appear behind the person. they used to whisper, usually “come with us” “help me” “death would be better”... one night a light burnt out, and in an instant I was consumed by their presence. I collapsed on the floor, banging on the floor and screeching for help. the kind of screams that you only hear a few times in your life, pure terror.... but... when my mom came from downstairs, she said she only heard me crying. no screaming, no banging, no sounds other than me crying. I would also black out sometimes, only remembering the fear my body had encountered. my mom said that there were moments where I would turn off, and completely turn in to some*thing* else. she told me she would never forget the time I was under my covers, convulsing, screaming “Leave me alone” at the top of my lungs. the neighbors turned on their lights and peeled out of their windows that how strong my screams were... she said she tried to comfort me, telling me it wasn’t real. but then she said that she got a glimpse of my eyes and although the whites of my eyes were still there, they almost glowed in a way, that’s how dark my iris’ were. a lot of people thought that I was medium, others thought I just had so much swallowed trauma (I was sexually abused at years 6-9 but didn’t tell anyone until 15/16)... I used to take 12 psych meds for it all. luckily, I don’t see them anymore, and i also am at 4 medications now.. but sometimes the paranoia is still there. but sometimes, if I just walk a little too fast, a strangers face morphs.

this is so amazing, it shows how much pain and taruma klaus has been through and how he still has the strength to crack up jokes and be goofy. he is such an amazing character with an amazing story. I really hope his siblings realize how much klaus is worth and finally treat him like a brother and care about him.

Klaus is my favourite TUA character. I don't know why I love him so much but for some reasons I do. Some people may think he's just a drunk and addicted to drugs man, but I don't think so. He seems to be so lonely and sad that alcohol and drug seem to be the only solution for him. He lost many things. I don't think everyone can understand him and what I'm saying. However, it's a beautiful edit, good job.
