Ah yes! Acoustic music; no electricity, no amps, no engineer "air brushing" the product. This is art in its most pure form. This how this music was made when it was new, and kudos to Tuba Skinny and others for keeping it alive and well and natural.

Whar a great combination Russel Ramirez (trombone) playing with Tuba Skinny. He plays like he would always be a part of that band.

First heard this off a '78 on a console Victrola at my Grandmothers house, 3rd floor extra room - about 1950. I think it must have still had some radio play in the early 50's. I guess I was "imprinted" to like this trad jazz. Many thanks for capturing this terrific evening busking session.

What barnyard animals do the clarinet and other instruments sound like?

Love what Shaye & Tuba Skinny have done with this but wish, just early on, Shaye would play the opening phrase straight .. her superb variation thereafter would be all the more delightful. It was a dance .. it goes: "First you put your two knees close up tight You swing them to the left and then you swing them to the right Step around the floor kinda nice and light And then you twist around, twist around with all of your might ... "
