Me encanta este grupo, esa música te lleva a épocas pasadas donde todo era diferente a esta locura de hoy. Hasta el perrito que aparece en el video está disfrutando esta maravilla. Me imagino un hogar cálido una mesa bien servida, comensales de la familia disfrutando y conversando, sonriendo y tamborileando sus dedos sobre la superficie de la mesa y una pareja bailando al compás de la mùsica. Shaye Cohn is the granddaughter of a New Orleans legend sax player arranger and composer Al Cohn...who played in the Woody Herman band along with Zoot Sims....

And her mother is a fine jazz singer, pianist. Her father top drawer jazz guitarist. Her grandmother, Marilyn Moore, a fine jazz vocalist in the day. Shaye studued classical piano until she dropped out of college at 19 .....

Approaching a quarter million views in just over a year, and is it any wonder !?! They are playing at their best here, and it's beautifully recorded. And I repeat - 'Shaye Cohn is terrific here .. her tone, phrasing, strength are fabulous - and yet the perfect base and blend for the whole ensemble .....

I would sell my soul to have been smart enough to continue studying music in my youth just so I could participate in that little group of excellent musicians... played trombone in elementary school band; wanted to be a drummer, had potential, but didn't stay with it... the price paid of being young and stupid... I could listen to these folks play all day long... so very excellent!!!! and DAMN but that gal is a cutie!!!! ;)

You guys are really consistently very good. Your interplay is just so well thought out and the individual solos are most welcome, showing the depth of talent in the band. What a pity that motor started up part way through as I thought my stereo was doing odd things! Keep up the great playing.
